"first day"

His alarm buzzed one more time before he got sick of the constant noise. Mike bolted up with a heavy groan and hammered his fist onto it.In doing so, he made it fall from his bedside table and onto the floor where it broke into pieces,
and to make it even better it was his first day at university today.

"Shit!"
He yelled, slapping a hand over his mouth after realising he could wake his father up, which would lead him to a morning full of mindless scolding.

He sighed and grumpily sat himself up and got out of bed, not bothering to fix the shattered alarm clock on his floor, he'd probably step on it later and then remember to clean it up.

He walked over to his desk and grabbed his phone, checking the time,
8:35 it read. Great, now he only had 23 minutes to get ready, he might just be late on his first day.

He sprinted over to his bathroom and grabbed his towel, hanging it over the sink which was conveniently right next to his shower.

He stepped into the shower and let the steam curl around him as warm water poured over his shoulders. For a moment, he stood there, lost in the soothing sensation, until he realized he'd drifted off. With a small shake of his head, he reached for the shampoo and worked it thoroughly into his hair, following it with conditioner. After rinsing, he turned his attention to the rest of his body, scrubbing away as the water washed it all clean.

Hopping out of the shower and sliding the shower door shut,he grabbed his towel from the sink and slinging it around his waist.

He walked out of the bathroom and looked into his mirror, making sure to fix his hair a little, brushing it down and running gel through it so it wasn't so crazy looking. The wind would probably mess it up but he didn't care, it was sort of his look anyway.

He grabbed some clothes from his desk that he had placed down the other day,nothing too much just a pair of comfy jogging bottoms,a white t-shirt and some black ankle socks.

He checked himself once more and then decided it should be time for him to head out, he was meeting Lucas, Max and Dustin at their local park.

Nancy reminded Mike that hes lucky they all get to go to the same university since she had to separate from all her friends and her boyfriend at the time.
And shes right, he doesnt know what he would do without his friends, especially his trauma bonded ones, but it's unfortunate that none of them got to go to their dream universities.

By the time he made it to the park, the whole party was already there.

"Where the hell is he?!"

He could hear Max yelling as he turned the corner,

"There he is."
Lucas sighed, dropping his hands to his side.

"Hey guys, i-"
Mike started,

"NOPE! No.
You can save your excuses for later but for right now were gonna be late so shut up"
Dustin interrupted as he sped walked down the pathway.
