This word shaped a world.
Meiyo, meaning Honor, and Kuni, meaning country, was in itself, the founding doctrine of the Order and Land once called Yamatō. There are four eras in this landmass's <called Wa by the west and Mainland Asians> history.
Kage, or Shadow, the age of dark, not a turbulent or particularly dark age, but a tribal one before the order of the Samurai.
Mizu, or Water, the age of formation of the Samurai, invention of the Fire-Arm, and the first major battles of this great class of warriors, where the rain of arrows and fire flowed in the air to create a sea of blood to gain influence in the Yamato Court.
Hi-Ichi <fire one>, or the period spanning the mainland's incursions into Wa and the Yamatese resistance. Hi-Ni <fire two> was the time in which Yamato lost power to Samurai ambition and the nation fell into disarray. Throughout the expansion of war-tech, It took the ingenuity and exploits of the House Mitsudomoe to bring the ravaging forces of the landmass of Wa and create the first Lordship under their rule, unifying the samurai once and for all.
And finally,
Kane, or Metal. The age where under the Mitsudomoe Lordship, Wa excelled above even the West or the Mainland under innovative leadership and ideas, expanding on the technology invented in the prior age.
