I know what you people are thinking and I'm going to set some rules. 

As a warship, you must follow rules. Especially if you are a United States warship. 

Mustin and Gettsyburg come from the 21st century and they respect Jones and their brothers and sisters. Also, they both know what you people are thinking and they don't like it.  In simple words, they follow a code of conduct and if they ever do get married they would prefer one spouse, not multiple women. 

Atlantic City and Detroit did face discrimination yes but not all of the warships were racist to them. Alaska and many others tried to step in as much as they can to stop the name-calling. However, ships move about. Atlantic city and Detroit do the best they can.
