Chapter 4

It was now morning.

I was currently sleeping in my bed.

After I heard my alarm go off, I started to open my eyes. But what I saw next really scared the crap out of me!

Cythonna was floating above me! Staring at me! And she was also smirking too!

This caused me to scream, jump out of bed, and run towards the bathroom!

She then chuckled after seeing what just happened.

Once I closed the door and locked it, I said this while panting.

"What the heck?!"

What in the world was she doing?!

I can't do this! I need to get out of here right now!

So, I immediately opened the window and grabbed my suit from the secret compartment.

Once I put it on, I went out the window and began swinging around the city.

Although, I couldn't get Cythonna out of my head!

This made me start to wonder.

'Was she watching me sleep?!' I thought.

In my honest opinion, I'm guessing most likely!

Even if she was, what kind of person does that?!

As I kept swinging around Metropolis, I looked around for a place to change back. So people won't be able to see my true identity.

That was when I eventually found an alley.

Once I was able to get there, I immediately changed back and walked out in my normal clothes.

Then, I eventually sighed.

This will probably not leave my head for a little while.

I know I did volunteer to do this, but I don't know if I can handle another night with her.

So, I began walking until I eventually got to the park.

I then sat down on the bench and began texting with one of my friends.

It was Jessica.

"Hey, Y/n. How are you doing this morning?"

"Hey, Jessica. I'm doing okay. I'm just at the park right now."

"Okay, how's it going with Cythonna?"

This caused me to stop for a minute.

How am I going to tell her this?

Then, all of a sudden, she sent me another text.

"Did something happen?"

I can tell that she's concerned. I needed to answer her, so I texted her this.

"Well, kind of. Nothing really bad. Just something a little disturbing."

"What was it?"

"I think Cythonna was watching me sleep." 😬

"Oh, geez! Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to relax."

"Okay, meet us at Sweet Justice later?"

"Sounds good!"

"Great! See you then!"
