I simply watched as the light left his eyes and eventually saw him slump down...

He was dead.

I stood still till I looked back over to Miracle who was now staring at the corpse beneath her, her arms slumped to her side and the rope became loose. Her eyes were empty and continued to stare intensely at the individual beneath her, her mouth pressed into a thin line, she was as still as a statue... I take a single step towards her and her head snaps towards me, those empty eyes staring through me and into my very soul, I felt a small shiver in my spine and I hated it.

We just kept staring at each other for a few more seconds before she got up and removed the rope from his neck and folded it neatly, shifting the bundle over to her left hand. She walked in my direction and for a split second I believed she would try and attack me with that very same rope. That was till she walked past me shoving me slightly.

The fog had faded and I saw Jaza emerge from somewhere. They were saying something about bodies and cleaning up and I couldn't hear them as I was too focused on what I had witnessed. Out of nowhere I hear the annoying sound of the desk bell chiming repeatedly and the gruelling sound of some old lady complaining that I should be working and not dozing off and if I didn't assist her this very minute she would report me to my head. I wanted to punch her but I pushed down the intrusive thought and put on my usual smiley persona. I tried to calm her down by apologising for my attitude. Once I had helped her and she moved out of sight I promptly put up my middle finger in her direction, I let out a heavy sigh my head turning once more towards the clock.

Where the fuck was Miracle?

Right at that moment who else but Miracle shows up, fucking finally, she was dressed up in her new uniform and looked dead.

"Where the hell have you been?" I tried to say jokingly but it came off as pissed, which I was to be fair.

She doesn't answer, instead just walking behind the counter and opening drawers to get out files. I swear to the gods she has a death wish, she really did just ignore me.

"Hey I'm speaking to you!" Nothing, she doesn't even flinch "Seriously you'd better respond in the next three seconds or else I'm bashing your face against the reception counter!" Her head then turns towards mine, her expression still dead as ever.

She opened her mouth and... "Shut the fuck up." She said in the most monotone voice ever. My jaw went slack and eyes widened as it took two seconds to realise what she had said and who she had said it to.

"The hell did you just say to me?"

She let out an annoyed sigh and repeated "I told you to Shut. The. Fuck. Up."

She's about to die "Do you know who you're speaking to?"

"A wall maybe."

"Excuse me?!"

"You're excused."

"I don't what the fuck is possesing you, but you'd better cut the crap before things get serious." My voice dead in tone, I was five seconds away from starting a fight and finishing it.

"I'm not in the mood for your threats, Chubby."

"And I'm not in the mood for this attitude, goat kid."

"Would you quit calling me goat kid? I have a name, grow a brain and use it."

"Do you seriously want to die right now?"

"That honestly doesn't sound too bad."

I give up, I have better fucking things to do anyway and spending time with her annoying ass isn't one of them. I turn on my heel and head straight for the doors, although...
