*A quiet forest, its trees taller than the average building in a city. The flowers grew in rows and around trees. Moss grew along the bark of the trees, climbing onto the branches like a spider web. While in the peace, there was a beautiful flower; it was purple with a gold center. The petals rose towards the sky and turned a light lilac color on their tips. Suddenly, a large boot crushed the flower, and it was accompanied by screaming.* "WE'RE GONNA DIE!" * one of them screamed, her pigtails flowing in the wind.* "No we won't shut up and run!" *Another said, jumping up at a tree and snapping a branch off. His extremely messy braid followed him as he threw the stick behind him, something marked onto it.* "This is the last time we're ever talking honey tree!" *One said, their glow bright orange as they flew in the air, their feet and hands ignited with flames. They quickly turned around, the flames in their hands firing out behind them as they continued to fly via their legs. The one that crushed the flower remained quiet, his bright green eyes focused on moving forward.*
*Rewinding to the beginning of the day Elliot stared at the ceiling of his room. The day was young and the sun was barely in the sky as the tall young man sat up and got ready for the day. He looked out the window from his bedroom out onto the city. The city was rather big, with only a few of the buildings going above the tree line. The world has been overtaken by Mother Nature for centuries now, and life has adapted. Elliot lived in the city of magic known to most as 'Enchanting Heights'. Elliot took a long sigh before placing his gaze aside and headed down the hall.*
*Elliot lived in an apartment building with his older brother, and normally, his older brother would be asleep, but he was away for a couple of days, so Elliot was home alone. He stepped into the living room which doubled as their kitchen, it being akin to an open floor plan. Slugging his way over to the kitchen, Elliot quickly made his lunch and got dressed. Elliot wore an exclusively flowy outfit. A long white shirt that made little flower petals on its sleeve cut, accompanied by a long cardigan that mimicked the silhouette of a cape. Finally, a black choker with a silver ring on it accompanied Elliot's ear piercings and his single lip piercing. He stepped out of the bathroom just as an alarm on his phone started to beep.* ''Perfect, '' *The purple-haired man said, stepping in front of the door to the public hallway.*
*He opened the door and went across the hall, waiting a second, before banging on the door. A blonde pigtailed figure stumbled out, contrasting Elliot greatly. While he had dark colors on, with his only bright color being white, she looked like a character out of a children's show. She wore a white shirt where the bottom of it was colored hills or pink, purple, and yellow; it was cut off on her shoulders, and the sleeves didn't continue much further. She wore light purple pants and holographic shoes that still gave her no height advantage over Elliot, who was more than a foot taller than her. She had freckles on her face and shoulders, but what was more eye-catching was her eyes. Unlike most around her, she had light pupils, making her stand out even more, especially when next to Elliot. The two had one thing that tied the two together, a purple and pink beaded friendship bracelet, both of them extremely worn, but Elliots looked much more well taken care of.* "Eli! Right on time as always." *She giggled, shoving some textbooks in her bag.* "Morning Evie... Ready to head out?" *Eli was what everyone called Elliot, only a select few call him by his full name. Evie aggressively nodded as she began to skip towards the stairs.* "C'mon we don't wanna be late for the uh... thingy..?" *She stated, stopping at the top of the stairs, nervous and laughing. Eli smirked as he followed after her, his chunky boots and chains clanking on the hard floor.* "We're going early today cause we're meeting in the gym for some meeting; Ester said it happens every year for freshmen and sophomores. Y'know the thing we made him plus our siblings to promise they would not tell us anything about. *He said, with a small smile. Evie squinted at him, pausing before like she was shocked and got really excited.* "ohh! How could I forget that!!!" *she said, hopping up and down bouncing from one foot to the other leading the two out of the building.*
