I Don't Wanna Be Your Friend

(They're like 14 in this one)

              Butters sat in bed, bored out of his mind. He hadn't seen anyone all day, his parents weren't home and even though he wasn't grounded, it was just one of those days when you have things to do like play or talk to a friend but you don't realize it so you just sit in bed bored. He wasn't sad at all, his mental health wasn't as bad as usual for some reason. Butters looked at the time, 12:32. It was mid-day and he hadn't even considered doing anything? 

     Deciding to stop siting in bed and complaining about it in his mind, Leo got out his phone and opened his contacts. 

Me: Hey fella, do you maybe want to go somewhere, I'm feeling bored.

Kenny<3: Yeah, did you have anything in mind?

Me: not rlly, I don't have anything to do, so whatever's okay.

Kenny<3: Ok, I'll be at ur place in 10 :)

Me: Ok :)

     Leo was shocked to find himself blushing, but not entirely, he had a crush on the other boy for the longest time, the heart next to his contact name and a picture of Kenny for his lockscreen reminded him to smile everyday, and it worked. Kenny was really the only reason Butters enjoyed life and was still living his. Kenny was the reason Butters got out of bed everyday. If only he knew how he felt.

     Butters sat there on his bed, smiling like a dork until he heard a knock on the door. He was taken out of his trans as he got out of bed and ran into the bathroom. Butters splashed cool water on is face to hide the fact that he was blushing so hard before running down the stairs and opening the door. He saw a taller boy in front of him, blonde messy hair poking out of the hood of his orange parka, his beautiful blue eyes shining in the sunlight. 

    Kenny waved and smiled. Butters flashed him a smile back before hugging the other boy like he usually did whenever they met up outside of school. "Hey, fella!" He said.

    "Hey." Kenny replied through his hood, which made his voice muffled. "I have a nice idea on where to go." 

   "Really? Where?" Butters asked, shutting the door behind him as he stepped onto the pavement of his front patio. "Surprise." Kenny winked.  Leo laughed before the two walked down the sidewalk for a while. They were in comfortable silence, and Butters was surprised to see Kenny taking his hood down, exposing his beautiful blonde hair. He was so handsome without even trying or realizing it, and Butters knew it. 

    "Is everything okay, Butters?" Kenny asked, raising a brow. Butters cleared his throat before nodding "Yeah, it's all okay." He chuckled. 

     "Okay. I can't wait until we get there, it's gonna be so much fun!" Kenny smiled, his face turning a light shade of pink. Their attention was turned across the sidewalk when they heard a voice shout.

   "FAGS!" Kyle shouted. Kenny and Butters let out a laugh as they saw him holding hands with Stan, who he had just started dating. 

      "Fuck you!" Kenny shouted back. "You're literally dating a dude!" 

  Kyle and Stan laughed before waving goodbye to the two. Butters let out a giggle before turning to look up at Kenny. "I can't wait until I get into a relationship." He laughed. "Me too, I've been feeling a bit lonely." Kenny replied. "Hey, don't worry. You'll find someone soon, and you got us friends." Butters smiled. 

      "You're right, and you've got us, too." Kenny said. Little did Butters know that Kenny didn't want 'someone soon', he wanted Butters. He wanted the small boy that had given him the strength to care for others, the boy that had given him the courage to stand up to his parents, the boy that made him feel things, the boy that had wiped his soul clean, the boy that helped him stay clean without him even knowing. Kenny couldn't count the amount of times that Butters had helped him without even knowing it. If he could, Kenny would give Butters the world. 

      "We're almost there, just down this path." Kenny said, pointing down a dirt path that lead to a small clearing of trees. "Hey, Ken. I bet you I could beat you to the end!" Butters said, smiling. "Really? Okay, you're on." Kenny said. The two laughed as they ran down the path, the sound of their shoes hitting the gravel and the giggles echoing around them. After a minute or two of running, the two came to a stop at the clearing of trees. Butters looked up around them and smiled in awe, he found a place that was almost as beautiful as Kenny, but he probably only thought that because Kenny was the one to show him the area. 

   "D-do you like it?" Kenny asked, nervously fiddling with the hem of his jacket. Butters looked over at the taller boy and smiled, he nodded before flopping down onto a thick blanket of snow. Kenny giggled before sitting down next to the smaller boy. He enjoyed this more than anything. 

   "You know, Ken? I really like being around you, you somehow always manage to make me laugh and smile no matter how I'm feeling." Butters said, looking over at the other boy. 

   "Really? Thanks, Leo. You do too." Kenny said.

"That's what friends are for!" Butters smiled widely. Kenny laughed quietly before looking at the ground. 'friends' He had to admit, hearing those words made him feel like he was being impaled. It hurt him more than dying every day. 

        "What's wrong?" Butters asked. "Nothing, I'm okay. I was just thinking, I like being your friend, too." Kenny smiled. Butters smiled, he also felt hurt at the word friend, but he had also called Kenny friend. But in his defense, he did it out of fear. 

     "You know what? I'm tired of this!" Kenny said after a couple minutes of silence. Butters flinched slightly at the sudden raise in Kenny's voice. "Wh-what?" Butters asked, he felt his heart drop to his stomach. Did he do something wrong? Why was Kenny mad?

    "You want the truth, Leo? I don't wanna be your friend!" Kenny said as he stood up, Butters followed his action.

    "Ken. What did I do? I'm sorry." Butters said, his voice started to break at the thought of losing Kenny and he felt tears start to sting his eyes.

     "I don't wanna be your friend, I wanna be your bitch!" Kenny said as the tears welled in his eyes. Butters was taken aback, he didn't know what to say at the moment. Kenny looked into his eyes as a tear rolled down his cheek. "S-say something. Please." Kenny said.

 But Butters didn't say anything. He pulled Kenny down by his collar and pressed their lips together. It was an honest understatement to say the two felt euphoric in this moment, the didn't know what to think, all that they understood is that they loved this feeling. Butterflies, euphoria, excitement, love even?

    Once they finally pulled away, Kenny wrapped his arms around the smaller boy and nuzzled his nose in the crook of Butter's neck. Butters had his arms wrapped around Kenny's neck and his head resting on his chest. 

    "You know, you're gonna get grounded if your parents find out?" Kenny chuckled.

"It'll be worth it. I don't care."
