Sunny is caught off guard and it results in him turning red in the face. He won't refuse you, obviously. ( He would never ) In fact, once the surprise dies down he's quick to cling to you. The problem is when this happens, he's not as quick to pull away so I hope you're ready to sit here until he either falls asleep or decides to let you go willingly.
BASIL
Basil drops everything he's holding and stares at you. You- You're so forward he's taken aback! What is he supposed to do?? How is he supposed to respond?? Ooh~! You look so cute right now and he's becoming so overwhelmed-!
And you just hugged him. Yep, he's fainting.
If you still want cuddles when he comes to, he's more than willing to give them to you. He'll be a little flustered but overall, he's a great cuddling partner!

Hero scoops you into his arms and clings to you as soon as the words leave your mouth. He may or may not have been waiting for you to ask this question and he kind of pounces on you when you do, but he did it ✨ lovingly ✨ so it's okay! :D

Kel's surprised but he quickly gets over it and holds onto you like a koala. I hope you know what you've gotten yourself into because he's not going to be letting go anytime soon no matter what you say or do.
