One of the concepts was that Eko was gonna kill someone, but not because he wanted to-
A person would attempt to kill Eko, and Eko, having a pocket knife with him always, would begin to stab the person to make them stop- as well as the fact that he was afraid. After a while of panic, he would realize what he did, and this was the dialogue I had-
"..n..no..."
"No..No N-NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!"
"ITS NOT FAIR- NO!!!"
"I DIDN'T MAKE IT THIS FAR TO DIE- NO NO NO!!!"
"ITS FAIR, ITS NOT FAIR!!!! YOU ATTACKED ME FIRST, WHY DO I HAVE TO DIE FOR IT?!"
Eko would then just begin crying, and eventually 'Snap' aka, "Split" would come into action- not minding. He would know his survival was at risk, and so he would simply make it look like someone else killed that person.
The end was that no one could figure out that Eko killed that person, and so he manages to actually make it out of there while everyone else died.
Yeah I'm glad I got rid of this concept.
