Chapter 2
The rest of the day went by in a blur. The only thing my mind could process was the color of his eyes, his smile, the way he brushed the hair out of his face. I needed to get my mind off of Karl. I couldn't let myself fall for him. I've been hurt before. If I keep this up, it will only end in pain and destroyed friendship. I said goodbye to the boys shut off my computer and headed to the bathroom to run a bath I slid down into the warm water dropping in a bath bomb I watched it bubble and fizz as vibrant colors washed out of it beautiful purples pinks and blues swirled into the water gold glitter glided throughout creating brilliant galaxies all around me. I laid my head against the wall and closed my eyes, letting the warm water and darkness engulf me. I opened my eyes and looked around colorful starbursts surrounded me I looked down and noticed my outfit a beautiful dress of galaxies yards and yards of stars like it was made of space itself I looked up to find Karl standing before me wearing a suit made of constellations he held out his hand
"Dance with me and pretend the world doesn't exist," he pleaded
He took my hand brushing my hair from my face painting my hair with stardust we danced through the comets for what felt like hours when a sound rang through the cosmos like the sound of a text coming through suddenly I opened my eyes back in the bath it was just a dream a wonderful dream I grabbed my phone from the counter swiping the lock screen to look at the text that just came through
