A few hours passed by and you'd eventually wake up, already feeling slightly better but still quite sick. Now you truly wondered what was in that medicine of his..

In a moment you'd hear the door open and once you looked over you saw Zandik in the door with a tray of what seemed like a new dish to you, to be precise, it was the Inazumian dish called Omelette Rice. You also saw another plate on the side with what seemed like Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh cakes on it " I didn't expect you to wake up this soon. " he said as he placed the tray on your empty nightstand and sat down on the edge of the bed while taking a glove off and putting the back of his hand on your forehead " Your Temperature is gone, It seems like the medicine I gave you works quite quickly. "

" Is it not supposed to? " you asked as you moved slightly closer to sit beside him before taking the plate of the Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh cakes only for Zandik to take the plate from your hands and exchange it with the other meal " Hey- " you said as he cut you off.

" You have to eat something that is considered as a meal before digging into the dessert. " he slightly scolded you " That is something even a child knows, Y/N. "

" But I'm craving sweets. " you said as you tried to reach for the Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh cakes only to have Zandik hold you back far enough where you wouldn't be able to reach it. He only gave you a quick glance before scooting in front of you before taking the plate of Omelette Rice as well as a fork to cut a bit from it and move it over to you " I'm not gonna- MNPH?! " you huffed as he shoved the fork into your mouth.

He only looked at you, purely unamused before removing the fork from your mouth and cutting another piece with it " I'll stay here and force you to finish eating this before you dig down into the Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh cakes. " he said as he moved the fork close to your mouth again.

You muffled before swallowing the bite he had given you only to look away in slight embarrassment " I can eat on my own.. " you said before he handed you the plate along with the fork and held his head in his hand as he watched you.

" Good. " he said before finally getting up and leaving your room without another word. It was strange to see how silent the Original was against everyone else, you also didn't catch him smirking nor smiling even once through these few days. Which slightly worried you to say the least.. but it's not like you really dared to ask him anything..

An hour passed by since you finished eating your meals, you even managed to brush your teeth and take a shower yourself as your body could already take some tasks. Now you just sat in your bed, looking out of the window with a bored look on your face before.. ' Ah! Perhaps I could take a walk around the palace. ' You thought to yourself before smiling and hopping out of bed to quickly dress up into your uniform and walk out of your room, now on your way who knows where.. The palace was quite beautiful and you were happy that you could take a walk around to clear out your mind a bit as you weren't allowed outside and honestly.. Staying in your room all day was no fun. Eventually, you'd stop by a portrait of what seemed like Her Majesty along with the Harbingers on her side. Your eyes wandered around on it before they stopped on your superior, you were unsure if it was Zandik himself or if it was one of his segments. So you quickly began to study the portrait, trying to find anything that would look off.. That was until you felt a presence beside yourself and as soon as you looked you saw a man with black hair.

" Her Majesty wanted everyone to be on here. Even La Signora, our deceased co-worker is there as you can see. " He said before a chuckle left his lips as you looked at the portrait again " If my memory serves me right, you are The Doctor's newest assistant. Correct? " he asked with a sweet smile plastered on his lips.

You looked back at him and gave him a quick nod " That would be correct.. um.. " you muttered as you tried to remember his code name.

" Regrator. " he said as he bowed down and took your hand to place a kiss on your hand " But you are allowed to call me Pantalone, my dear. "

You'd nod your head " Pantalone.. I'll remember that. " you said with a smile before he gave off a chuckle as he looked at you.

" Would you like to take a cup of tea with me? " he asked.

You looked at him for a moment before nodding " Sure! " you yelped out happily as he smiled at your energy and the two of you soon began walking towards the dinning room to begin preparing tea for both him and you. With that, the two of you spent quite a few hours talking and laughing along with a cup of tea..

" So you are telling me that Dottore forced you to eat AND saw your naked body? " Asked Pantalone with a huff before crossing his arms " That man has no manners when it comes to ladies like yourself. I'd never dare to touch you in such a way nor force you into something you don't want to do. " he said before the two of you laughed again.

" Well, It was really embarrassing but I had a horrible Temperature to the point I couldn't really move my body due to how sore it was. So I suppose that it's alright.. But I'll remember the way he touched my private areas, he truly has no manners! " you pouted in a purely joking tone as you crossed your arms and giggled in a moment.

Pantalone looked at you for a moment before looking down at his cup of tea " Y/N, do you even know why you were chosen to be his assistant? "

" Hmm? Ohh.. well no, not really. But I'm sure he'll tell me one day, or I'll try to make his segments tell me the reason for it. " you said as you kept your eyes on him.

" There is no reason for it. " Pantalone said simply before looking up at you " He is simply a man whom will take anything from anyone just so he can use it as a toy and then throw it away like most of his experiments. " he said with a pause " But he seems to have another reason. No one can really figure it out.. A few Harbingers have already made a bet on it having to do something with using you just so he can use you for your body or manipulate you into doing whatever he wants you to do. " He muttered before chuckling " I myself betted on him actually wanting to be loved for once in his life, everyone laughed but the longer I thought about it the clearer it became to me. Dottore never shared his background with any of us, but he seems like a man who has his own needs as well, and to say the least he seems like he's never touched a woman. "

" Hmm.. Well.. Z- Dottore seems to be.. quite interested in me, he cares for me and my health but I think that's normal since he's a Doctor. Yet I still can't wrap my head around WHY He's being that nice.. perhaps you'll win the bet, or maybe someone else will.. But I highly doubt that he'd even be able to feel love as he doesn't even smile unlike you. "

" That would be false. Whenever someone mentions your name he seems to be paying attention and his lips slightly curl upwards, or that's what Capitano told me. " he said before taking one last sip of his tea and putting the cup down " Well, I better get back to work before that madman asks for more funds for his experiments. "

You gave him a nod and giggled as you waved off to him " Have a good rest of the day Pantalone! " you yelped out happily as you finished drinking your tea and got up as well to leave the dinning room. Happily the stairs to your room were quite close so you made your way inside only to flop down on the bed and cuddle up to one of your pillows ' Today was quite good.. ' you muttered to yourself with a smile on your face as you soon drifted off to sleep not feeling even a tad bit sick anymore, which was one of the many pluses today. You were sure that you'd pay the Doctor in perhaps a few cinnamon rolls for the medicine he gave you, but that was for tomorrow, you were just happy that your sickness went away so fast with the help of his medicine..
