"God wants to talk to you."

My heart froze. Why would God want to talk to me? Was it about the time travel? Great. I get to die because I was having fun.

"Wh-what?" I said. You could hear the terror in my voice. I don't think any regular angel ever got to meet god in all of our history. And our history goes way back. Further back than your great great great great great great great great great great great great grandpa.

"God would like to talk to you." Raphael said, confusion spread all over his face. I'd ask why God wanted to talk to me, but I knew Rapha didn't know.

"But, I'm a regular angel. No regular angels have ever met God. I heard only a few of you archangels get to meet him."

"You think I don't know that?" Rapha said, he sounded... Jealous... I don't think he'd met God yet. Gosh, this was not good. Meeting God before an archangel did. Well that's never been heard of.

"You're just going to take her to see God?" My mom said. She looked at me like I was scum. "Why her?"

"You think I know?" Raphael snapped his attention to her. "M'am, you're fake. Everyone can see through it. On earth they call it a gold digger. Get it through your stupid, thick skull that you are never, ever going to be an archangel. None of us will fall in love with you because the love would be fake." Rapha sounded mad. Mom had just had her ass handed to her on a silver platter. She deserved it too.

Mom didn't say a word. She knew how incredibly fake she was. Nobody told her though. Rapha wasn't trying to be rude. Sometimes it just happens. She pissed off an already upset archangel.

Mom's petite body shuddered in. Her dark hair covered her shoulders. Her wings hugged around her like how they do whenever she thinks about dad. Her green eyes got darker. Her red lips curved into a frown. She wasn't happy. She hasn't been happy for 11 years.

My dad died in a war. It was a two man war, but a war. This guy, Adam something, forgot his last name, was a prophet. Lucifer wanted him, so he sent out his best demon. She was stunning. I remember seeing her. Only once. God sent out his best angel, which was dad. In the battle for him, the demon killed dad, while the prophet killed himself. My dad died with honor, but he still died.

"Okay, we need to go." Rapha said. "I apologize for my harsh words, Miss. I hope you find love again one day. But I also hope it isn't fake, forced love." He brushed his hand against her cheek sympathetically.

"I can't just leave my mother like this, Raphael. You really hit her." I looked at him harshly.

"It's not my choice, it's God's." He replied harsher. "Now lets go."

I reached out for my mother. I rubbed her back lightly. "Are you going to be al-"

And suddenly, poof, we weren't at Worth It anymore. I was standing at two large, castle like doors. Everything was white and gold, other than the wooden doors. I looked behind me. The hall looked like it could be over two miles long. The walls were about twelve feet tall. There was a giant gold chandelier directly above me.

Rapha stood next to me. His fear was still written on his face. He was trim not to show it, seeing as archangels aren't allowed to show any emotion, especially not fear. I felt bad for him. He hurt my mom, but he had been hurting too.

"Now, you're going to go in. Be polite. Don't anger him. I've heard he really appreciates a good vocabulary and speaking very proper. Good luck, Layla." I hugged him. I know I'm not supposed to, but I didn't care. I was about to die, so I didn't care.

I walked into a giant room. Gosh, it was beautiful. There was a long dining table dead in middle of the room. A sunflower was placed in a vase in the middle. There was a few bouquets of roses around. The floor was marble. My heels clicked on it. The walls were a light red-ish pink.

There was a picture of Lucifer on one of the walls. It wasn't as big as the picture of Micheal, but it was large. Even though Lucifer was going for the other team, God obviously still loved him. Which was very respectable. As beautiful as Lucifer is, I hope you never, ever see him.

I fluttered over to the table. I looked down the table. Far down. A man sat at the other end. I had to swear not to tell what he looks like to humans, so I wont describe him, you know, for the whole, You'll know when you go to heaven thing, but let me tell you, he is not how I imagined.

I swallowed. Hard. I was so terrified. He looked up so quick, his neck could've broken. But it's God, so of course it didn't. My chair slid out. God was powerful. You could literally feel his power radiating around the room. I wanted to leave. I felt like I was about to puke. I waved at him and smiled lightly as my wings fluttered me to the floor. I sat down, then the tables length shortened. That just made me even more nervous.

"Hello, Layla."
