I took a deep breath and inhaled the smell of adventure. With purposeful steps I walked out of the airport and hailed down a cab.

The driver peered up at me with a confused face.

"Rittle gill, whele are your parents? I cannot take you anywhele without theil pelmission." His engrish was broken and his accent was very evident.

I glared at him and answered with perfect Korean: "I can send you to my parents in hell or you can let me get in the car and we can act like civilized people."

The mans eyes widened and he drove away, almost knocking me over in the process. I might have overreacted a little but anytime I thought of my parents my blood boiled. You can't really blame me. If you knew what they had done you would want to hurt them too...

I hailed down another cab and this time I used aigyo to get what I wanted

Sir, could you take me to my new workplace?

The poor man smiled at me and gestured to the backseat.

Hop in! What workplace would that be?

SM entertainment sir.

The rest of the ride was quiet and I just stared out the window. After about 20 minutes I knew we were getting close so I pulled out a pocket mirror, my hairbrush and my mini makeup bag.

As I took in my reflection, I frowned.

My long brown hair was knotted and my mascara was slightly smeared under my eyes.

The cab pulled up in front of a large building with SM ENTERTAINMENT printed in block letters on it.

I jumped out of the cab, thanked the driver, and paid him what I owed. Great, I was officially broke.

I walked into the building and up to the front desk.

"Konichiwa!" the woman said. "How can I help you?"

"Konichiwa" I responded quietly "I am the new back up dancer for exo."

"AH! Yes. I have been expecting you. Your early. Step this way."

I followed the woman through hallways and tried to memorize the way.

Right...Left...Left...Elevator up to the 25th floor...Right...Right...Left...Right again...

I gave up after a little while and soon we had arrived at a door with a small plaque nex to it. It read: EXO, Living Quarters.

"Here we are! Heres your badge that identifies you as a new part of their group, the key to the house, your orientation packet, the key to the training room, your planner and, because youll need it, a map of the building. Anything else you need?"

"No. Im ok."

"Don't hesitate to contact the front desk for help! Good luck with those monkeys!"

She left me with the bag that contained the keys to my new life. I dug through it, found the key labeled EXO Living Quarters and turned the lock...
