“What is the cruelest thing in the world, dear Aseria?” My grandmother asked me one day when I was young.
“I don't know,” I had admitted. “I intend to journey and find out, though!”
“Whatever you may find, however,” My grandmother had warned. “May be a shock– a challenge you face, even. Just remember that.”
“What challenges would I have to face?” I had asked.
“You may come face to face with those you fear,” My grandmother said. “Face to face of those of myths.”
“But myths are myths!” I had said. “They can't be real!”
“I can assure you that some are,” My grandmother had explained. “But whatever comes, you have to be ready to face it head on.”
“I will.”
“Thats my good Aseria.”
Now I'm traveling with my friends. We had just managed to get to the Eternity Shores when Iracebeth mentioned that we should try to help my not being able to teleport issue. I clutched the locket that I had of my grandmother and I, and attempted to teleport.
Very short, I know, but I'm working on Chapter One :) ~Sky
