Patrick managed to take down 3 of the creatures with the pistol. The soldiers dealt with the rest. After they were all dead, one of them noticed him. "Kid! What the fuck are you doing out here?!" He looked like he was going to say something else, but he wasn't able to say it as his head was blown off. Patrick looked to where the shot came from. He saw a big creature with a human face and green hair. He shot at it repeatedly, but it didn't seem to have any effect on the creature. He turned around and ran away.
Patrick ran into a random building. He looked around and saw a dead body with a shotgun next to it. He immediately ran over and picked it up. He ran outside and saw another of the green haired creatures. He aimed the shotgun and fired it three times. The creature dropped dead.
Three more of the creatures with green hair came around a corner. He kept firing his weapon. One by one they all died. He turned around and saw one of the orange creatures lunging at him. He quickly aimed the shotgun and pulled the trigger. He didn't hear the sound of shells firing, instead he heard a small click. He was out of ammo. The creature made contact and knocked him unconscious.
