Chapter 4

Y/N pov

I storm away from aonung, tears rolling down my face. He made me so mad, he called my family freaks and left my brother to die. And he STILL wanted me to forgive him just like that.

I walk into the pod and lie on my bed, facing away from the others. "Y/N is everything alright?" Neteyam says walking over to me.

"I'm fine" I say looking away from him, wiping my tears. "Are you sure?" He says putting his hand on my arm. "Yes!" I snap back, he takes his hand off me and walks away.

(The next day)

Me, lo'ak, Neteyam, tsireya, Kiri, Tuk, roxto and aonung are all sat on the rocks talking. Lo'ak going on about the tulkun he met when we was left outside the reef.

I still hadn't forgiven aonung from what he's done but somehow everyone else already has. He's always staring at me, not taking his eyes off.

"The tulkun never go off course, and anyways no tulkun is ever alone" Aonung says to lo'ak. "This one was, he had a missing fin, a stump on the left side of his face" Lo'ak answers.

"Payakan. It's payakan" tsireya says to roxto and lo'ak. "Who's payakan?" Kiri asks. "A young bull that went rogue, he's an outcast" Roxto answers.

"But he's not rogue! He's my friend. If your not going to listen then I'll just go!" Lo'ak says storming off. "No no I'm listening!" Tuk says but lo'ak doesn't listen. "Lo'ak" Kiri says but he's already gone.

"I'll go find him" I say as I get up and go the way he went.

Aonung pov

"Lo'ak" Kiri says as Lo'aks left us. "I'll go find him" Y/N says as he gets up and leaves. Tsireya looks at me and gestures me to follow him. "I.. need to go look for something I lost" I make an excuse of and go after Y/N.

"Y/N" I say quietly as he turns around, his eyes looking into mine for a moment before turning around and begining to walk away again. "Y/N please listen" I say grabbing his hand gently.

"Please go" he says not looking at me, his golden eyes staring at the ground

"Y/N you have every right to be mad at me. But please forgive me" I say having both my hands on his hand. "How could I ever forgive you! You left my brother for dead!" He says angrily.

"I know and it was stupid of me, I never should have done that. I don't know why I did it. But please stop running from me" I say walking closer to him.

"Why are you so obsessed with me? Why are you always staring at me?" He says upset. "Because.. because. Your beautiful" I confess as he looks up to my eyes for the first time in a while.

"Wha- what did you say?" He says confused. "Your gorgeous, i cant keep my eyes off your beauty" I say blushing. His eyes staring into mine.

"I.. I." Y/N says, not knowing what to say.

I let my thoughts take over me as i swiftly pull Y/N into a kiss, his eyes widening at what I did. I gently take one of my hands and place it on his cheek.

He pulls me away after a moment. "I should.. I should go.." he says as he turns around and runs off.
