A few weeks had passed and I hadn't really talked to Becca much. We would smile and wave whenever we saw each other but it wasn't the same. She had a boyfriend now. Louis. He was a tall boy with ginger hair and would he give a evil glare whenever he saw me. He hated me. Once me and bec had been talking and laughing together during a lesson. When she had greeted Louis after school, he had made it clear he was pissed off the way me and her were talking. Since then shed sort of stayed clear from me so she didn't cause trouble. I understood but it broke my heart.

She seemed to really like him, but she didn't see the things everyone else did. He was so obsessive over her, getting jealous whenever she talked to another boy. She had changed so much since being with him. What she told me a little while ago scared me too. She admitted that he had tried to make her do things, sexually, but she hadn't wanted to. I think it worried her a little but they have carried on being together and have only kissed still.

I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't watch out where I was going.

'I'm sorry'. I said as I turned round to see who I had bumped in to. It was Becca.

'Oh,Its you!!' I said smiling at the sight of her.

Then I realised she was upset. Her eyes were red raw, where she had obviously been crying and she was looking down at the floor. I lightly touched her chin, bringing it up so she was looking at me. She had so much hurt in her eyes.

'Becca, what's wrong' I said my voice a little croaky.

'Its over..' she trailed off, sucking in a big breath.

That's all I needed to hear. I grabbed one of her hands and pulled her closer to my chest. I rested my head on top of hers and ran my fingers through her hair. She leant into me, breathing in short breaths.

'Its okay'. I whispered over and over

*Becca's POV*

I walked to the lunch hall with tyler. He hasn't left my side since I told him my sad news. He kept cracking jokes to try and put a smile on my face. It was working, I was feeling a lot better.

'Tyler?' I said quietly

'Yeah..?' he replied cautiously

'I'm sorry.' I said, looking down at the floor

'What for?' he asked, his eyes full of concern.

'For ditching you for such a dick, just cos he had told me to stop talking to you. I'm sorry, you don't know how much I have missed you.'

'I have missed you too. Its okay, I understand'. he said

I looked up at him through my eye lashes giving him a smile. His brown eyes poured into my ones, almost like he was searching for something.

We came to the front of the line. We bought our lunch and then walked around the hall to find our friends. Once finding them we sat down and began to eat. I noticed everyone was looking at me, their faces concerned.

'I'm okay'. I assured them

Soon I forgot about all the sadness I was feeling. I was surrounded by my friends and that's all I needed. I looked at hollie and stuck my tongue out at her. Her eyes were sparkling in the light. She had her blonde hair tied up in a ponytail and her lips were pink with lipstick as normal.

'You sure your okay?' she said

'I'm fine, I promise'. I replied. She gave me a relieved smile and continued eating her lunch. I watched her as she noticed a boy walking into the hall. Her eyes widened and she blushed a little. I turned round to see who it was. She made a face at me indicating she thought he was hot. I laughed and everyone joined in.

THE END OF THE DAY

I walked out the front of the school. Tyler was standing there leaning against a brick wall. His hair looked shiny in the bright sun and his dark eyes twinkled when he saw me. His smile made my heart clench as I walked towards him slowly.

'Hey..' I said, feeling the warmth rise on my cheeks.

'Hey' he replied 'come on, let's go home'

He started walking my way. I stopped, feeling a little confused.

'You never walk this way, you go that way' I said, pointing in the direction he usually went.

'Yeah but I'm walking you home today' he said in a deep voice that made my heart flutter.

His words stuck in my head as we started a long conversation. Just the way he said it with a protective tone to his voice. Like he cared. As we came up to my front drive, I realised my mums car wasn't their.

'oh no, my mums gone out and I don't have a key'. I said with a laugh

'Its alright, I'll wait with you'

We walked up my stony drive to my door step and sat down. He sat beside me, our arms brushing past each other. He nudged me, making me look up from my daze. I turned to see his face, beaming a smile. His brown eyes curved with his lips and they twinkled in the sun. I smiled back feeling my cheeks redden.

Just at that moment my mum surprised us by pulling up on the drive. She had met Tyler a few times before so she knew who he was. We both got up from the front step and waited for my mum to exit the car. When she did she said hello to tyler. He replied and smiled kindly at her.

'Thanks for waiting with me Ty'. I said quietly

'Anytime..' he replied with a smile.

With that he wrapped his arms around my waist, into a friendly hug. I smiled as he walked off.
