Jonas: The global mentality is moving towards free world trade and increased market liberalism. A world full of opportunities. A world where dreams can come true. It sounds fantastic, and it is fantastic. For a very small percentage of us. But for the vast, poor majority, the capitalist system only meals one thing: death and suffering. While we live out our days thoughtlessly, and stuff ourselves with cheap food, the poor people of the earth struggle in factories. Wages are forced down to the minimum, while the work hours keep increasing. Unionization is illegal, and the working conditions are intolerable. Before applauding freedom, we must remember one thing: our over-consuming society stands on the shoulders of the coffee farmers from Peru. We gorge on cheap food produced by underpaid children's hands from India. Was it good?
Eva: It was really good!
Jonas: Yeah? What about the title? Should I change it to "Working conditions are in inhumane"?
Eva: No, it was good the way it was.
Jonas: Yeah? Is there anything else you thought of?
Eva: Um... You know you wrote "gorge on cheap food" twice in a row?
Jonas: Yes?
Eva: Maybe you could change that.
Jonas: No, no, I meant to write it twice. Because I use repetition as a literary tool to emphasize...
(loud laughing)
*Eva gets distracted by a group of girls walking by*
Jonas: Was it good?
Eva: Yeah, that was good. Cleverly written.
*They kiss, but are interrupted by Isak.*
Isak: Hehe! I got a 5. 5 plus? Nice. Really good. Eva, what did you get? Come on.
Eva: I'd rather not talk about it.
Isak: The thing is, Jonas is your boyfriend, so you have to tell him everything. Jonas is my bro, so he has to tell me everything, so I'll know anyway.
Jonas: It's true.
Eva: Okay, yeah. I got a 4 minus.
(boys chuckle)
Jonas: You got a 4 minus?
Isak: That's bad.
Jonas: Yeah, yeah. You're good at a lot of other things. You're able to dress yourself, you can brush your teeth by yourself. Think of that.
Isak: Jonas, we're leaving.
Jonas: Now?
Isak: Yeah.
Eva: Where are you going?
Jonas: To Elias'. I'll call you later.
Eva: Okay.
*Eva and Jonas kiss goodbye*

8:32 PM
*Eva calls Jonas while doing homework in her room. It goes straight to voicemail. She begins looking at the Facebook page belonging to one of the girls seen earlier when Isak Skype calls her*
Isak: Hello!
Eva: Hey!
Isak: What's up?
Eva: Nothing special, really. Are you with Jonas?
Isak: No, not now.
Eva: Weren't you going to Elias'?
Isak: Yeah, but that was a few hours ago.
Eva: Oh. Did you see Sara's picture? I think she got fake lashes.
Isak: (laughing) No!
Eva: Yeah, check the picture on Facebook.
Isak: What's up with those girls?
Eva: I know.
Isak: Have you heard they started their bus already?
**A bus is part of a Norwegian high school tradition called the russ celebration that takes place in the final spring semester of the year before they're off to university. Some people pay for big buses with more than 20 people to party and drink in.**
Eva: No.
Isak: One month intro high school and they started a bus.
Eva: With who?
Isak: With some other girls. They're calling themselves the Pepsi Max girls. You know you can just talk to her, right? She won't bite.
*Jonas knocks on Eva's bedroom window*
Eva: Jonas is here. I have to go.
Isak: What are you going to do?
*Eva hangs up, let's Jonas in, and they kiss*
Eva: I tried to call you, but you never answered your phone!
Jonas: Yeah, my battery was dead.
Eva: Can't you just charge it at home?
Jonas: I wasn't home.
Eva: Where were you, then?
Jonas: I was at Elias'.
Eva: Until now?
Jonas: Yeah.
Eva: But I talked to Isak. He said you guys left Elias' hours ago.
Jonas: Why so many questions? Isak left, I stayed. Don't you trust me? Don't you trust me? Huh? Why don't you trust me?
*Jonas playfully picks Eva up and throws her on the bed*
Jonas: You're heavy.
Eva: You're crazy.
*Jonas finds Eva's paper on her bed*Jonas: 3 plus? You said you got a 4 minus!
Eva: It's almost the same.
Jonas: "Whoever has expelled..."
Eva: Jonas!
Jonas: "...must be blamed for their behavior. In psychology, as well as-"
Eva: Jonas!
Jonas: "...is guilt a state on experiences."
*Eva takes the paper*
Jonas: "A state one experiences"? That was really sweet.
Eva: What do you think you're doing?
Jonas: A kiss.
*Jonas and Eva kiss*
Jonas: "A state one experiences."
(both laugh)
