Chapter 2

"It's nothing miss I just tripped." I said as I bowed to her.

"Be more careful, go take your seat, eunchae, go back to your seat next to Yae-kein" the teacher said as eunchae sulked since she wanted to sit with me.

"Honey, I don't think there's any empty seats, but there's one next to beomgyu, go sit next to him for this lesson please!" The teacher signaled me to sir next to him. Him? Out of all the people. Even Kai didn't have a saved seat for me.

I had no choice but to sit down next to him.

I sat down next to him and took out my notes and books.

"Sorry about earlier" he whispered to me.

"It's fine, it's not you're fault. But stop doubting Me dumbass" I glared at him.

"Alright alright" he said as he laughed.

"Loser" he whispered thinking I didn't hear him. I lifted up my hand to hit him. But I didn't. I don't want to get in trouble again.

"Ah sorry sorry, was it too loud?" He said mocking me. I have no idea how I'm going to handle him. I looked around to see eunchae looking at me as she sulked.

I looked away and the teacher kept on with the lesson.

I was in class and was taking notes down. I cared a lot about my grades. I was about to raise my hand to answer one of teacher's question. But then

"Beomgyu-ah, you have been quiet the whole lesson, how about you answer this?" The teacher made beomgyu come up to the desk to write the answers.

He looked back for help. I saw his friends shrug.

Sigh

I wrote down the answer on a paper and showed it to him. He smiled and wrote it on the desk.

"Wow beomgyu! You're really good at this, good job! Go take your seat" the teacher signaled him to sit back down.

He smiled and sat down.

"Where's My thank you?" I asked him.

"Huh? What do you mean, it's not like you helped me"

He said as he smirked. This boy loves getting on my nerves. I sighed and ignored what he had just said.

I sat down taking down useless notes since the teacher said we might yet the questions for our test.

After a few moments the bell finally rang.

Eunchae got up and came jumping towards me.

We walked to lunch together and sat down at a table.

Looking over at Beomgyu's table he was quite popular. He looked like a cheerful person. He was also a funny person. He kept making his friends laugh.

"Whatch lookin at??" Eunchae said looking at who I was staring at.

"Ohh, Choi Beomgyu?" I then ignored her words and kept on eating.

"Helloo???" She waved her hand.

"Ah right, I have to go, I have to show my work to the teacher" I said getting up leaving her all alone.

I did feel bad but she talks way too much.

I went outside and sat on the bench near the fountain. The school was really pretty. The teachers were all nice.

After school I went back to my home. Hoping that mom wasn't home. Most of the times, the dads are the ones who are suppose to be abusive. Right? No. My mom is a spawn of satan. She beats the hell out of my every chance she gets.

I came home and took off my shoes. I wore My slippers and made my way to the kitchen.

There I saw my mother sitting on the couch. She was home.

"Finally. Where were you, you brat?" She stood up and came towards me.

"Good afternoon mother." I bowed to her hoping she wouldn't ask for my grades again.

"I hope you're doing well in school. Your brother is already the top student at his own school! Yet he's younger than you!"

She started bragging about him just like always.

My family was quite wealthy. But I slept in the attic. With spiders and bugs.

My brother was forced to go to tutors 24/7. Since he's the only son.

"Show me your grades" my mom said. I unzipped my backpack and took out my notes and grades.

"Let's see... math 100%, History 98%, English 100%,...

Why is there a 87% in geography!?"

There she goes again. I always try my best. But she always expects 100% from me in every subject.

I thought 87% was the best score I could've ever gotten from geography. But no.

"How many times have I told you to study more!? Do you want to be a disgrace to the family!? Think of our reputation!" She said as she slapped my face.

It didn't hurt anymore. I was used to it by now.

After getting shouted at for one hour straight I finally went up to my room. She didn't hit me that much this time though.

I got dressed into plain clothes and started doing my homework.

My eyes got heavy as i kept on writing the formula.

I was finally finished with all the homework and packed my books to my backpack.

I looked at the time to see it was already 2:17 AM. I have to wake up at 7 AM. I better go to sleep.

I cleaned up my desk. As soon as I jumped on the bed I fell asleep.
