Two long lost friends reunite after years, and under unexpected circumstances.
How will their relationship grow and develop after learning each others secrets and deepest desires?
Aurora, the leader of a Kpop cover dance group, and online influence...
The brightly lit room was filled with the sounds of heavy breathing and a little bit of coughing until a cheery voice interrupted , " Okay who is ready another go? there was only a few things I think weren't conveyed properly." With that statement the heavy breathing switched to depressed sighs. " You said that the last run through of the song would be the last one. I want to go HOME now..!" The girl who had collapsed on the floor said, Lilly.
"I know but our performance is in a week from now, and I don't know about you, but I don't want to look like a fucking dork in front of all of our Idols, Lilly." Aurora stated before marching over to her phone to restart the song. With that everyone rearranged themselves back into positions, knowing Aurora had a point. I mean who would want to look dumb in front of the people they looked up to?
Withthat, Aurora, Lilly, Kevin, Kai (choosing Huening Kai in every txt cover),and Aaliyah, Got back to their cover of Sugar Rush Ride. They had all chosen this song to cover as soon as it came out, but when they got invited to perform at Kcon, somehow they were even more sure of this song to show off their skills in multiple genres of Kpop. Up until now the team of five had only done a few different concepts, most of them being ones by Ateez to show tribute to their old friends.
About half-way through the song it was cut off, surprising everyone. Then the majority of the lights were turned off, and with that everyone looked towards the light switches and door in unison. All were relieved when just finding their marketing manager, everyone's friend from high school, Janice.
" You have all been here for the past 8 hours. It is time to go home and rest before our flight tomorrow! No arguments. Pack your stuff up and let's go, I'm not making this place stay open for you guys any longer than they already have." Janice said with a little sass in her tone.
Everyone but Aurora cheered and somehow already had their things in their hands, and were lining up at the door.
After a final death glare from Janice Aurora sighed and picked up her bag and battle of water and caught up with her team.
Now of course she was tired too, but something just felt off to her about her performance, but of course even if everything was perfect about it she always thought something was up. Everyone already knew how she was and just accepted her perfectionism.
With all the lights turned off and the front desk person waving "goodbye" to the group of physically drained people who had practically become their friends after being there so much. The day was finished and complete at 2:30 am. Everyone was drained. They had to get up again to catch a flight out to LA in 7 hours. The plan was to stay at aurora's apartment, and then get up in a few hours to get to the airport.
All of them hoping in one cramped van, the team headed to Aurora's apartment. Just about a 10 minute drive away, but when they got there only one of the passengers remained awake, Aurora.
Only thing on her mind, "I should be better if I have to cover Yeonjun's parts in the song." She thought devastated and mortified for their upcoming performance. She didn't want to look bad in front of him after so long.
After everyone had been woken up and made it into the medium sized apartment every possessions the five had held onto fell to floor as everyone either rushed to make a palet on the floor or try to squeeze onto the couch. This was a small tradition that they had. Everyone sleeps in the living room before the night of something big. It honestly started because their first performance on a stage everyone was nervous, so they comforted each other in the living room so nobody felt alone. What a wholesome tradition.
A day before the Hell week starts, the first thing they have to do right after getting off the plane is an interview then hoping everything with the hotel went well, they were barely able to get a room since apparently it gets booked out fast around this time. Who knows. ;)
After everyone had settled in and some already asleep, Aurora's last thought before she drifted into what would be a short nap was, "I hope I get to see him again finally, after all this time. I really think he will like the performance. If he doesn't i will swallow myself up into a big ball of shame."
With that Aurora took her last look at her teammates and closest friends before finally falling asleep with a small smile on her face.
