"I don't think Tristan has a problem with us hanging out all the time and neither should you with him." I tell him.
Collin takes a deep sigh and rolls his eyes. "Jordan..." He says gently, "he's bi. He could fall for a girl or a boy and leave me in the rubbish. He could fall for.... Him!" He hisses, nodding his head at Zayn.
He expects me to react the same as he did but I simply chuckled at his over protectiveness and paranoia. "Zayn's straight, okay? And you're fucking delusional." I tell him.
Tristan comes over here with Zayn behind him, shrugging his jacket on. I push Collin forward and he nearly stumbles onto Tristan. Collin told me earlier Tristan is taking him to meet his family. Maybe it's Collin's nerves talking today, I don't know.
"Have fun, kids. Behave well, Collin!" I shout as they leave the garage. Tristan turns around, smiling at me appreciatively, while Collin, being the schnook that he is, flips me off.
I hold my middle finger up, kissing it and sending it off like a kiss. Collin smirks before getting in Tristan's car.
Zayn stands beside me and sneakily pulls me against him by my waist. Sneaky but not sneaky enough. He's close enough that his nose brushes my cheek. "Give me half an hour." He whispers before heading back out the garage.
"You fancy him as well, don't you?" Harry asks me. There's a loud clang as Harry drops his tool on the cemented floor.
I shrug, putting my hands in my pocket. "Perhaps. Why?" I ask him.
He chuckles and shakes his head. "You'd better be careful. He's a great friend and everything but... he's very careless when it comes to handling women's feelings towards him. He's as sympathetic as a rock."
"You shouldn't be talking about your friend like that, Harold." I tell him because I don't find backstabbers appealing.
But, I'll give it to him, he's got a great defends. "It's facts, Jordan. And I'm sure under all of that front you're putting up," he says keeping a straight face. "I can tell you deserve someone better."
I frown and cross my arms. I can sense a bitterness in his voice. It's very chilling and uncomfortable. I'm not used to the way he's speaking now. He sounds so serious. "Why are you telling me this, Harry?" I ask him.
His piercing green eyes meet mine. It's hard to tear away from it because he's burning into my soul. At last, he speaks. But his tone doesn't comfort me, not one bit. He sounds mysterious and cold, "Why do you think?" He asks.
It hasn't been thirty minutes and Zayn comes back in the garage, out of his uniform and in a black t-shirt. He gives me a look then turns to Harry. They're looking at each other like never before, or at least I have never seen before.
Did he hear what Harry have said?
"Hey," I cut in, touching Zayn's arm. "It's all right, it's nothing. Come on."
It took a while before I drag him out of the garage. Even with our backs turned, I can sense Harry's stare burning onto my back.
And his words stay in my head, "Why do you think?"

"Did Harry bother you?" Zayn asks me.
We're stood outside my younger brothers and sister's primary school. It's almost 3 so they'll be out any minute now.
I shake my head at his question. It's different coming from Harry and it's bothering me but not in a really bad way. It's something I can forget after a night sleep unless he brings it up again.
"He's got a knack for being a prick." He tells me.
"No, he wasn't being a prick." I tell him but he scoffs. "Really, Zayn. It's nothing-"
