[b/f] = best friend

It was supposed to be just a normal, somewhat sunny day. You and your best friend had made some plans to go to an arcade just a block away from your house. It didn't take long to get there at all, maybe fifteen minutes max. As you arrived on the porch, your phone goes off from [B/F] sending a message

[Bestie] "so uh heyyy!!! I'm gonna be a bit later, I gotta go grab stuff for mum"

You sighed and just sent a text back that said it was ok before walking in

You were walking through the arcade, when suddenly a loud crack was heard above, showing that a storm started. Everybody runs out and is running to their cars. However, you weren't able to run out due to their ride from their best friend not being there yet, so they were stuck in the arcade for now. They sigh, walking over to the ticket counter and picking up some tokens. The cameras were broken, and nobody else was there, why wouldn't they?

Slowly they made their way through the narrow 'halls' that were made from different games. There were some newer games, such as a cute dragon dino looking game called "bubble bobble" which they stopped by to check out .

There was a tiny green dragon/dinosaur creature that signaled player one, and it was rather cheap anyways. As you slid in the token, a bright and happy tune began to play from the machine and put up simple instructions. You had to press a to spawn bubbles, to shoot the robot toy...are they toys? The machine was too blurry to tell. Despite this, you clicked in on the happy looking game and loaded into the first level.

It was a light purplish platform stage, three bars in the middle going up with three on each side that could fit maybe one player on them. A hole was in the top area, right in the middle as those same tiny toy things hopped down and tried to land on the same platform as the green dragon . As you pressed a, soft blue bubbles would fly at the toys and capture them. Then they would float off in the bubbles that had turned green, carrying them away and dropping fruit to collect. You kept going through the levels , before you got hit by one of the creatures and they folded in on themselves, signaling you had died. You continued on for about another ten or so minutes, before you lost all your lives.

Your walk down the halls continued, looking at a few other games. None of them seemed to be very attention grabbing, yet there were a few that seemed semi interesting. One was Q*Bert, another was a game that had a small drill with these tomato glasses wearing things on them. The one that was close to you however was Pac-Man. What a classic. You walked up to it and pushed a token in, before starting up the game and skipping whatever was in front to load in. Everybody knew how to play Pac-Man, and you knew it like the back of your hands . It didn't take long till you were in the two hundred level area, just repeatedly playing over and over until the screen went black

"What the-?!" You muttered, before suddenly being pulled into the screen by a very familiar hand...
