Vímen p.o.v.

The child was born during a rainy morning in
the
Tipani settlement called Mawlaki village.

Not a storm full of thunder and harsh winds but rather a soft and dewy rain that makes you feel refreshed afterwards.

The kind that puts adults to sleep.
But also the kind that makes kids rush out to play in the puddles and drink the water dripping from the sky.

By noon the cloud had cleared and left room for a warm sun and the girl was welcomed into the world by teary eyed smile of her mother, the warmth of her fathers eyes and the cheers of the Tashik. Vìmen was exhausted, "definitely not doing that again" she thought feeling the effects of hours of cramps and pushing. Yet as she gazed down at the beautiful baby whimpering softly in her arms she can't bring herself to feel even an once of regret. Instead, all she could feel was free unadulterated joy flowed through her I body.

Her baby, her miracle. The small bundle in her arms wasn't as hysterical as she expected, most babies scream and cry their eyes out from the overstimulation of taking their first breath. She remembers her mother telling her that much back when she was still small and innocent. She didn't linger on the thought, Vìmen too tired to think too hard about it right now. She was honestly glad her 'ite wasn't breaking her eardrums at the moment, she was already tired from her own screeches.

A moment of peace.

Her half lidded eyes softly landed on the man sitting beside her. The father of her baby. Her husband, the man who make kick her feet in giddiness when he smiled at her. His pupils were wide with amazement and love, Vímen's heart could do nothing but melt at the sight.

Their eyes met and he grins at her, "you did that" he says with astonishment at the fact that she had successfully pushed an entire baby out of her stomach. The man placed a soft kiss on her cheek and slowly moved his hand towards her baby's face. He used his pointer figure to simply nudge at the baby's cheek

Their quiet moment was interrupted as the Tsahik gently spoke,

"Win säpi! it is important that you bond with your ite immediately, nìpxi since she is the first Eywa has blessed you with" and so she did.

The bond was overwhelming and though she had bonded with her mate and other highly emotional creatures this was different. There were no coherent thoughts to hear, or emotions to feel really. Yet she felt overstimulated, she could simply feel her, her vitra, and Eywa singing through her veins.

Soon after the beautiful bonding moment the girls father raised her small body up in the air and declared her name, surrounded by loved ones. Tstunwi'syu Te 'Awtxì Vìmen'ite.

Tstunwi for, kind, thoughtful, and considerate; 'Syu from, Syulang for flower.

Daughter of Vìmen Te Heyi Tiew'ite of the Anurai Clan and fathered by Mueawu Te 'Awtxì Eou'itan

By mid day, they had reached the tree of voices, the first communion with Eywa, a day of great moment for Eywa and her children.

In that moment her parents only prayed for one thing.

They prayed in their hearts to the Great Mother that she would grow up to honor her name. That she would grow up to be a kind and thoughtful ite. With the beauty of Pandoras flora, and a heart as vast as the ocean.
