'Assistant' - Henry Wu x Reader - Book 1

SC ~ II ~ Jealousy 😒🙊

"If you don't mind, me and Dr.Wu have somewhere to be, and we don't have time for your excuses to flirt." Y/n spoke with a small smile, that was obviously fake, and continued to pull Henry away from Harper.

"No, Y/n, it's alright, a few more questions and we can head back to the lab." Henry shook his head, still oblivious to Harper's attempts.

"Fine. A few more and we're leaving." Y/n mumbled, something close by catching his attention.

The two continued to 'talk' and Y/n went to go look at what he had saw, not even knowing what it is. He stood there for a few minutes before looking over his shoulder to check on Henry and Harper.

This time, Harper had moved a LOT closer to Henry, almost touching him with how close she had moved. That was the last straw for Y/n. He walked back over there and grabbed Henry by the arm catching both Henry and Harper off guard.

"Excuse me, we were talking!" Harper scoffed, moving away from the wall and over to Y/n.

"Yeah, and we're leaving." Y/n crossed his arms over his chest, glaring at the shorter woman infront of him.

"You're annoying, you know that right?" Harper held eye contact with Y/n, both of the almost forgetting Henry was there.

"Uhm..Y/n, we can go now, it's fine." Henry interrupted their staring contest, getting a smirk from Harper.

"No, I changed my mind. If this barbie doll wants to keep running her mouth and flirting with people she just met, she should know what happens." Y/n shook his head, still staring down Harper, which eventually made her uncomfortable.

"Barbie doll? I'm not even blonde, for one-" Harper moved closer and pointed a finger at Y/n's chest, which was immediately slapped away.

"I guess Barbie Doll doesn't even begin to cover the way you act and look, I guess fish would be a better term for that, huh? Guess that means I could make you Mosa's lunch, I don't think she'd like the way you taste very much, though." Y/n smiled, glancing at Henry who was just nervously looking between the two again.

Harper didn't respond this time, just staring at Y/n, both of them having almost the same angry expression- except Y/n was slightly smiling and Harper's mouth was slightly open as if she wanted to say something.

"Now, if you'll excuse us this time, me and MY BOYFRIEND have somewhere to be. Thanks." Y/n made sure to emphasize the 'my boyfriend' very clearly as he looked Harper up and down again before turning to Henry and grabbing his hand, heading towards the lab again. "Oh, one last thing so you know not to try your flirting attempts again."

Y/n grabbed Henry and kissed him, making sure Harper could see. Her mouth seemed to open a bit more than it already was, making Y/n smirk whenever he went to fully turn away this time. Once the two finally got to Henry's lab, Y/n placed himself in his usual spot, on the desk, and Henry had to make sure the door was closed and locked before saying anything.

"What was that about? All she was doing was asking questions." Henry shook his head, still oblivious to what Harper was really trying at.

"Wow, and for once I thought you were actually smart, I guess titles don't prove anything. She was VERY CLEARLY flirting with you, she even moved closer to you and you're defending her?" Y/n crossed his arms.

"Sweetheart, I'm not trying to argue with you or defend her if she was flirting, I really didn't notice the questions sounded like flirting, they just sounded like normal questions." Henry walked over to Y/n and stood between his legs.

"Well, I'd appreciate it if you became a bit less dense and knew when someone besides me was flirting with you." Y/n chuckled, kissing Henry's cheek.

"I can't promise, I'm only smart in the areas I'm required to be, if that makes sense to your small brain." Henry shrugged, wrapping his arms around Y/n's waist and move closer to him (I had a stroke with this part, sorry 💀).

"Hey, at least I know when people are flirting." Y/n muttered, kissing Henry's neck.

"You suddenly got all 'lovey', did she seriously upset you that much?" Henry asked, closing his eyes when Y/n kept kissing his neck.

"Just making sure she knows you're taken." Y/n sighed, resting his head against Henry's shoulder.

"I believe she knows by now, after the thing you did before we officially left." Henry muttered, humming slightly when Y/n started kissing his next again. "Sweetheart..we have work to do, quit it-"

"That can be done later, I'm just making sure she knows not to try that again." Y/n smirked, pulling away from Henry and guiding him to sit on the chair.

"I have never seen you like this." Henry smiled slightly at Y/n when he sat on his lap and wrapped his arms around his neck. "Not that I'm complaining, it's kinda nice to see you like this sometimes.."

Alright, so, I kinda got lazy with this, which I apologize for, I just kinda wanted to get it out sometime before just forgetting about. Hopefully it wasn't complete trash, no offense to you if your name is Harper, I literally just picked one of the female names from a different thing I'm working on so uhh-

Also, hope you guys like the silly image I found on Pinterest of the main cast for Jurassic World Dominion, I've been meaning to start adding images in the top thing (idk what it's called-) again so maybe I'll start doing that again but with other silly Jurassic images?-
