Kaeya smirked and shrugged, then moved over to the pile of books, picking them up. You grinned proudly and removed the top book from the stack, placing it in its spot.

"Thank you," you said flirtatiously, then continued replacing the books on their newly-cleaned shelf. Kaeya looked at you expectantly, so you sighed.

"Listen, you can't judge me, but..." you began, avoiding eye contact by fiddling with the spines of the tomes in front of you, "A while ago, Mika and I-"

"Mika?!" Kaeya interrupted loudly. You quickly shushed him.

"Would you shut up?" you hissed, snatching another book off the stack, "We're in a library, remember?" Kaeya giggled quietly.

"Sorry, it's just-" he laughed, sounding infinitely surprised, "I never would have thought you of all people would have such a... colorful history." You placed another book on the shelf, then shifted on the ladder so you were leaning against it facing him.

"What, did you think I was a virgin?" you chortled, shaking your head, "Sorry to disappoint." Kaeya chuckled.

"Not disappointed. I'm actually relieved," he stated, causing you to glare at him, "So anyway, you and Mika..." He gestured for you to continue, so you grabbed another couple books from his arms and turned away to put them back.

"We used to mess around a little," you said as casually as possible, "He really comes out of his shell once you get to know him. And one day at work we we couldn't keep our hands off each other, so we decided we would... y'know," you paused and turned back to Kaeya, leaning down flirtatiously, "scratch the itch, as they say." Kaeya chuckled in disbelief as you took the last book from him and turned to put it in its place.

"I can't believe you lost your virginity to Mika," he laughed as you slid the final book in.

"I didn't say I lost my virginity to him," you stated, "I just said I slept with him in a janitor's closet." You giggled at the shock on Kaeya's face as you jumped down off the ladder to face him.

"Go ahead," you encouraged him, smirking confidently and closing the distance between your faces significantly, "Ask me." He mirrored your expression, feeling his heart skip a beat at your closeness.

"How did you lose your virginity?" he asked in a low voice. Your smile widened. He was so gullible.

"You first," you shot back quietly and broke away from him, leaning back against the bookshelf. Kaeya chuckled ruefully and flipped you off.

"Not gonna happen," he replied flatly. You shrugged.

"Fine," you stated nonchalantly. He stared at you. You squinted back at him, still smirking knowingly. He sighed.

"It was Donna," he admitted, "I really liked her but she was just using me to get to Diluc." Your jaw dropped.

"I heard about that," you said, "Diluc told me you two fucked but I didn't..." You paused and looked at him with surprise. "You actually liked her?" Kaeya chuckled and nodded sheepishly. "That's crazy," you muttered, shaking your head.

"Your turn," he asserted, changing the topic. You sighed.

"I fucked the wolf boy in the woods," you answered simply and moved the ladder to the next shelf over.

Kaeya's mind was blown. He put his hands on the side of his head and sputtered unintelligibly while you snickered and started dusting the shelves. After a moment you looked back at him. His jaw was still dropped as he looked at you with utter surprise.

"Razor?" he finally managed to ask. You laughed and nodded.

"He got really clingy, though," you commented, climbing up to the top shelf, "I had to ditch that pretty quick." Kaeya scoffed in disbelief as you started grabbing books off the shelf and handing them to him.

"I'm just learning all sorts of things about you today," he uttered in surprise, taking the books from you.

"And I, you," you stated like it was obvious as you placed the last of the books on that shelf in his arms, "You're very easily manipulated." You giggled while he glared at you and dropped the books aggressively on the floor.

"And you're gullible," he shot back, trying to recover, "How do you know I wasn't lying to you?" You scoffed.

Kaeya looked away, not wanting to meet your eye. He knew he wasn't lying, but once you pointed it out he felt embarrassed. It was like lying didn't even cross his mind, which was so different to his usual interactions that always resulted in mendacity. It wasn't that he couldn't construct a lie for you in his head—he had many prepared that ran through his mind—but every time he was about to avoid the truth, he heard it. That same phrase that put him in this situation resonated in his head. "Fuck it. At least there's no way she could hate me more," it said.

"Because I can tell when you're lying," you explained, causing Kaeya's eyebrows to raise for a second before furrowing while he squinted at you in suspicion.

"There's no way," he stated confidently, "I lie to people all the time. I'm skilled." You laughed out loud and crossed over to him.

"No, when you lie, you and Diluc both do that thing. Like this," you said, slightly changing your expression by looking up to the left and raising your eyebrows a hair.

"I don't do that," he replied quickly, raising his eyebrows slightly and looking up to the left. You smirked.

"Okay," you replied sarcastically, doing the face again to mock him. He glared at you while you giggled cockily.

"That's it, I'm not helping you clean," he stated flatly and started to walk away. You quickly grabbed him by the sleeve and pulled him back. You pressed your body against his, trapping him against the nearby bookshelf as you gently tugged his collar, bringing his lips so close to yours they tingled excitedly.

"I'll make you a deal," you whispered seductively, sending goosebumps rippling up Kaeya's arms and neck, "If you actually help me finish this job... I'll let you do whatever you want to me in that janitor's closet when we're done."

Kaeya gulped and breathed deeply. He couldn't help but smirk as he tried to force down the feeling of the sun growing in his chest. Once he realized just being this close to you was causing that feeling, however, he shoved it down. Deep down. There was no way he actually liked you after all this time right? Right.

"You got yourself a deal," he replied lowly.
