Kentrells pov
Me and Jayda walked with the doctor to Ari's room
"She is a bit jumpy we are guessing she has PTSD and depression."the doctor said but me and Jayda wasn't playing attention to what he said we just wanted to see Ari.we nodded walking into Aris room
Jayda ran to Ari hugging her.Ari jumped slightly then looked at Jayda with a straight face not hugging her back.I tapped Jayda to get her off Ari
"Ari are you okay?How you feel?"Jayda ranted to Ari
"Jayda chill she just woke up out her coma let her adjust"I said.Jayda looked at Ari while Ari looked at the wall with an unreadable face
"Hey sexy face"I said lowly.she looked over at me for a few seconds then looked back at the wall
I looked confused cause she would either laugh or smile at the name.then I thought back to what the doctor said before we came in here
"Kentrell you okay?"Jayda said touching my arm
"Yea I'm good"I said walking out the room to my car
I got in the car putting my head on the wheel.I haven't cried in years but seeing Ari in there going through depression not showing emotion made me think of my mom which was the last time I cried when she died from depression.
*flaskback* "Man you forgot to pick me up from school again I had to walk 10blocks with this big book bag"A 8 year old kentrell said (he was smaller then a average 8 year old) to his mom while she just looked at the Tv that wasn't even on not showing any emotion
"You okay"he said walking to her
"Yea go to bed "she said still looking at the wall.Kentrell eyes watered from seeing his mom like that.She was so nice and fun.every time they left from school she would buy hims ice cream or McDonald's.she was showed him love by kisses or hugs.She be came depressed 2 years ago when kentrells dad died from a drive by.she hadn't gotten better since.
2 hours later
Kentrell jumped from a loud thud.He walked to find out what the loud noise was and to find his mom to make sure she was okay.he walked in the living room.seeing his mom on the floor with a pill bottle next to her.She was shaking with a white stuff coming out her mouth.kentrelll just stood there stuck not knowing what to do.
