Melancholia- a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause

Why melancholia? What does bring her melancholy?

Well, everything has a bit of melancholy; even happiness is connected to it. Because to be happy, you need to be surrounded by melancholy first to cherish your truly joyful moments in life. That's what she would answer. But there's something else too.

So why melancholia? Because it's her most common feeling. The feeling she finds in everything. Not only poorly though. Every word has a general meaning. But she doesn't like general things, she never did. That's why she has her own meaning of it. Things don't always have to be imperfect or sorrowful to be melancholic. That's why she describes the word melancholic -perfectly imperfect-

That's what truly the word means to her. She finds melancholia in everything. Things like flowers, sun, moon, stars, sunsets, clouds. Even in feelings, though melancholia is a feeling itself, yet she connects it to happiness, amusement, peacefulness and much more, but substantially to love.

Will her meaning of melancholia ever change? Will she think the same way after the tragedy that's coming into her life? Will she think of it as every other person thinks of melancholia?

Serenity- the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.

The moon

The moon, which connected their fate.

It all started in one night.

Stars in the sky with the moon shining down at them in a bare forest.

A girl who found comfort in that forest.

She was sitting on her tiny duvet, admiring the stars along with the moon.

The forest was very safe and far from everything, her house, her friends, from all the negativity in her life. It was just her and the sky.

That's what she thought

She had no idea there was a boy in the forest who felt the same way she did.

The boy loved to be there just as much as the girl.

The boy also loved to admire the sky full of stars.

And the moon

They both found serenity in the moon simply from just looking at it.

They both found crazy how nature can bring out so many calm feelings.

They wished it could be like that forever, in sorrow

it remained a wish.

The boy was laying on the grass, headphones in his ears, as he listened to his favorite band.

Everything seemed so nice, he didn't want to go home but unfortunately, he had to.

He looked at his phone, it was 2:29am

That's when he decided he should slowly head home.

On his way out of the forest, he started to hear something.

As he slowly got closer to the sound, he immediately recognized the song playing from the girl's phone

It was Roslyn by Bon Iver.

Since it was very late, he couldn't go past without a word.

So, he went closer to the girl.

"Um, excuse me" he tapped her shoulder softly

The girl immediately looked at the tall figure with fear in her eyes and jumped up.

The boy got surprised and started to apologize right away.
