"Oh Paul!" Said Julia to her loving husband sitting across their kitchen table. "I am not a goddess,

"How so?" Paul playfully asked back. "You do everything for me and in such a happy manner, there is no way you can be human." This made Julia smile her husband could be so kind. If anything he was a goddess or god, it didn't matter. Julia came out of her thoughts to then find Paul continuing the conversation.

"There's a letter here for you dear." Julia hadn't even noticed that throughout their conversation that morning Paul had been going through the mail.

"Oh!" She said "Isn't that wonderful! From who?" Before Paul could answer curious, Julia went back to her mind to think about it. It could have been Dorothy? No she had just gotten a letter from her sister on Monday. Avis? No not this soon Massachusetts was a small place but letters did travel slow. Now she was anxious and soon became shocked by Paul's answer.

" Your father" continued Paul in an annoyed voice. " I have to go" he said once Julia's mouth finally closed. "I have an old friend traveling in for lunch

"Oh!" Julia responded falling out shock " That's right Marcus ! You'd better go." Then Paul kissed his wife watching her sort of shocked expression and went out the door. Her father! What could Julia's father want from her? No she knew what he wanted , Paul to not exist and Julia to become a republican. That was all so there was no need to read the letter right?

Julia decided to not worry about it the last thing she wanted was criticism a page long from her father. So she went along with her day like normal, cooking, eating, cooking, talking to old friends then she waited for Paul to come home from his lunch which weirdly went four hours. Julia waited and waited and then started to panic where was her husband? She decided to walk down to the post office to use the public phone to call the restraunt . As Julia arrived she almost died of shock to find her father waiting right in front of the telephone!

"Daddy! she said "what are you doing here?" He said nothing but just stood there with a little smirk on his face, then Julia started to put together what happened. "You!" she continued "where's Paul did you do something with him?"

"Paul" her father finale spoke "is fine and not my problem anymore Julia!" The tone of his voice infuriated Julia it was like he was happy about what he had done and for what? what did he want anyway? It was only right to ask so she did.

"What do you want from me father?" Julia asked "I have nothing but Paul!" In her mind Julia now felt she knew what her father had wanted not her change in politics or Paul's death but did he want Julia's unhappiness? and if he truly did want his daughter to be unhappy then why? then her father nodded like he had just read her thoughts and suddenly let her free.

"Today" he said "Is clearly not the day but I will be back for your happiness" he finished creepily before strolling away like nothing happened. Julia stood there by the phone booth for a moment just trying to process what had just happened. and before she could think about it anymore another thought came into her head Paul was still no where to be found! And what did her father mean by not his problem anymore? Then she heard a muffling sound she thought was maybe coming from inside the post office.

And if she listened quietly enough Julia could swear she heard her name! It had to of been Paul! she would look but the blinds had been shut to the cause of Sunday so the sound was the only thing she could go off of. Julia's only way in the office was the door obviously so Julia broke her way in to find Paul tied up in the corner what kind of sick man was her father to do this to her? Getting the thought out of her mind Julia quickly untied her beloved husband who took her hand and started to run back to their home as fast as he could go.
