Finally paid and drive back home quickly get changed, sort my hair and do my makeup ready for this review

"Hi everyone I'm JenniferRae and welcome back to my channel as you may or may not have seen there's been a mascara scandal all over Tik Tok, for those who don't know there's a huge makeup influencer on Tik tok called Mikayla Nogueria," I say to the camera and on the edit of the video I play some clips of her Tik toks "mikayla is a makeup artist and has gained over 14 million followers on Tik tok which is absolutely mad and with having an audience that big it comes with a responsibility, she has millions of people who watch her content and reviews to see what the next best products are. However, her recent review has come with a lot of controversy the video has as of right now over 10 million views and the reason it has so many views is because people believe mikayla has used false lashes to promote this mascara. So I believe Mikayla is a parter with L'Oréal so they would've sent her this product and kind of a script she's to go a long with, this video would then be sent back to the L'Oréal team who would've approved it and let her post it so we are going to watch this Tik tok and I'm going to see if I think she's used lashes comment down below if you think she has it hasn't and once we've had a guess I'm going to try this mascara and we will see if this mascara is life changing and before I get into this I would just like to say I am not bashing Mikayla as a person I'm sure she's lovely I'm here to talk about the content and product" I speak to the camera

For anyone who wants to watch

In the video she shows how to use the wand and shows her applying a coat I pause the video

"Okay it looks nice so far her lashes do look good but there is a huge difference between the eye she's just applied and the eye she's already done but that is only one coat so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt," I speak and then she applies a second coat and there's a cut in the video where's she's showing the side of the eyes to show the length and there's a massive difference in the lashes "miss girl come on," I say while laughing "nah I didn't think this would've been real! I do actually think she has lashes like look at the difference from here," I say and show the clip before the cut "and here," I say after showing the after cut "the lash line looks way fuller and look how fluffy they look no way is a mascara giving that, mascara would make your lashes so clumpy and heavy looking. Now I'm going to read the comments" I read some out and burst out laughing

"So now I'm going to try it, here's my lashes before," I say and show the camera my lashes from all angles and apply a coat "so it's pretty, my lashes are separated and they look nice but have I used better? Yeah," I say to the camera and apply another two coats "so yeah as I said definitely not my favourite mascara it's really not giving that false lash realness however it's nice will I use this again? Probably not I don't see myself reaching for this over some of my other ones," I say to the camera and do my other eye with the mascara

"So there is this whole debate is she using lashes is she not but most people are kind of agreeing she's not and then there's the other side which is was this the whole plan from L'Oréal did they tel her to apply lashes to boost the views, they knew people would comment on it and everyone knows comments, shares and likes boosts the video pushing it onto other peoples feeds and the more people that see it the more they're going to buy it, and how many people like myself have bought it to see how decent the mascara really is like we knew it wasn't going to give us false lash looking lashes but we bought it anyways. So I do believe they knew what they were doing the question really is who's idea was it was it mikaylas? Or was it L'Oréal's? And as I said I'm not bashing mikayla in anyway so I think everyone on the internet needs to give her a rest like if you saw how much L'Oréal paid her for that video alone you'd most likely sell your siblings, cousins, parents, literally anyone it's absolutely mental so, don't leave hate on the video I do understand you may be disappointed as you trusted her with her recommendations but as a L'Oréal partner she pretty much has to lick their arses and tell you every product they put out is amazing which isn't realistic at all so yeah don't leave hate on the video don't hate on her it's not that deep it's a £12.99 mascara from superdrug. Haven't the price on drug store makeup gone up Jesus Christ. But anyways that's been my honest review on the L'Oréal telescopic lift mascara, don't love it don't hate it definitely wouldn't repurchase and yeah you'd do the same for the bag so don't come at her because she's getting paid at least 6 figures for one video and you're not and on that note good bye my loves don't forget to like and subscribe bye!" I say laughing towards the end and blowing a kiss at the camera I also Kept the mascara on for a couple of hours to do a wear test and it slightly transferred during this time which I made sure to mention

I send those clips to my editor who will work on that video and it'll most likely be up tomorrow night and he will post the clips on Tik tok too.

Clips away I head into the shower and head into bed ready for my day tomorrow and then it hits me I'll be seeing niko tomorrow I've not even spoken to him in ages.
