Thank you for letting me see your shine, and for letting me see your gloom
You were a boat and I tried to be your anchor
I tried to be the reason for your smile, but I could also be the reason for your anger
I always knew you were meant for more, more than what was behind that door
You found a way to open it and I couldn't be more proud
They tried to keep you silent, but thank you for being loud
