So some of my peeves when it comes to (classic) Y/n:
Almost ALWAYS WHITE (I'm Black so that's the reason why)
ALWAYS FEMALE (I'm a Demiboy, and I still have issues with my chest because it doesn't fit how I want to look. I'll still read f!y/n fics, but only when the stories I want to read haven't been updated. If the y/n isn't female but still rather feminine, I'm good with it since I am a feminine Demiboy. But when she/her gets used, I feel uncomfortable since I get misgendered CONSTANTLY.)
Always without things like scars or even stretch marks (which naturally happens when you get older.)
Always Straight blonde hair (I pull off blonde, but I want one that at least has curls or braids.)
Always Big chested (I'm flat, which I'm happy about since I have to bind less, but why not make stories for flat people they aren't confident about that?)
Always with Blue or an exotic eye color (we get it, blue eyes are beautiful, but show that love to EVERY EYE COLOUR. Brown eyes are warm, green eyes are captivating, hazel eyes are goldmines to look into, grey eyes are calming, "black" or just really dark eyes are mysterious, so if you're going to show lots of attention to one eye colour, DO IT TO EVERY EYE COLOUR.)
Barely has a personality (I just want ONE Y/n that knows where to draw the line and acts like an actual person)
Unrealistic issues (as in motor issues and mental health issues. I stutter, but I don't stutter every freaking sound that comes out of my mouth, which CAN HAPPEN but it's EXTREMELY RARE TO HAPPEN. And I just want one that doesn't have a stereotypic version of ANHD or Autism, OR EVEN ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEYOND THE SURFACE LEVEL IF YOU WANT IT TO BE CLOSER TO REALITY.)
Overly tragic backstory to the point of impossibility (how did your mom die when she was still pregnant with you? HOW ARE YOU EVEN ALIVE?!)
