Y/N's eyes fluttered open to see the burning sun shining right into her pupils even though the reasonably dark clouds decided that your eyes should burn.
She lightly groans. In her attempts to roll over to face a different direction she noticed there were two black furred and fuzzy arms around her waist hugging her from behind. Your face burned a light red as you calculated what they were for a moment before you remembered yesterday's events and Macaque.
You turned over the best you could and patted the back of macaque's fluffy head and whispered
"You awake monkey man?"
Macaque's eyes popped opened and he uttered a small
"Yep...nope never-mind"
His grip on your waist tightened to prevent you from leaving as you watched him slowly drift back asleep.
"No no, your getting up, i'm hungry so we are going to get to your place sooner than tomorrow night"
You used all your strength and yanked yourself out of his arms, that caused him to jump up looking startled.
"Awww come on, I was comfortable"
He said in a mocking tone of voice
"Mhm, you didn't have the sun burning your eye balls out of your head"
You said to him as you jumped onto a nearby tree branch.
"What ever you say"
Macaque responded putting his hands up and giving you his trademarked smirk. You jumped from branch to branch as you scouted the forest for some source of food until you spotted a cave.
Your half awake brain told you that there was probably something in there like fruit so you listened to it and jumped down to the cave. You stopped at the entrance, it was reasonably big. Big enough you could fit about 80 people in just the entrance way.
You walked into the cave slowly and looked around. The farther you walked that darker it got and the less you could see. You had ended up shifting into your Mizuchi because snakes have heat vision.
Up ahead farther into the cave you saw a figure next to something large, you couldn't make out the figure because heat vision doesn't give your sight any details. You turned back into a monkey and speed walked through the cave.
You sharply turned a corner and collided with the wall, you sat on the cave floor rubbing the spot on your head where you had hit it. You looked up to see a large tree in the middle of the cave that was dossed in sunlight from a whole in the ceiling.
At the base of the tree sat Macaque with his eyes closed looking peaceful as ever and next to him sat a small bowl of fruit that he supposedly gathered from the tree.
"I see you've made it"
He said looking up at you.
"Want something to eat?"
He asked picking up the bowl and taking a piece of fruit.
"YES I WANT SOMETHING TO EAT!"
You said ecstatically as you rushed over to him and took the fruit.
He watched in amusement as you ate the fruit almost whole.
"Do you always eat that fast?"
He asked chuckling at your awestruck face.
"THIS IS SO GOOD!"
You shouted
"And yes i eat like that aaaaaallllllllll the time"
(If you don't, bear with me LOL)
Then you felt the pain from the bonk on your head come rushing back. Your tail twitched violently and you rubbed the spot on your head.
'OoOoOOoOoWwWWWw"
you groaned, Macaque looked at you and hummed in respons of your groan
"I have ice and other things that could help at my place, but it is about 30 minuets away... can you wait that long?" he asked helping you stand up
"I guess, but damn that wall, CURSE YOU WALL"
you yelled looking at the wall that caused your injury
Macaque chuckled at you childish language and led you back out of the cave to the spot by the big tree.
"Let's get a move on"
You said, Macaque nodded and jumped up on a branch with you following close behind.
You both ran for the rest of the time, once again you talked through more than half of it and Macaque was happy to listen. The you both came up to Macaque's home
(ya'll i'm going to wing it with this one)
"We're here"
he said and jumped over to the front door area with you following close behind.
He had run into the house to some far off room to get some ice, you had no clue what to do so you sat right where you stood and looked around.
It was very nice in here, kind of like a training dojo.... WAIT duh thats what i'm here for im such an idiot sometimes.
Then Macaque reentered teh room holding some ice in a small bag, he then handed it to you sitting down right next to you.
"So how do you like it here?"
He asked smiling
"Its really nice"
You responded smiling back at him
"Want the tour?"
He asked you standing up and holding out his hand.
"Sure"
You responded taking his hand and getting up
"Lets go"
