Dragons. Fantasy creatures, you probably think but no. They are real, hiding in our society. By now so adapted that it's almost impossible to recognise these mighty royal creatures. But they are definitely there.
Hunted by humans that were blind with their obsession and greed for power, they had no other choice but to flee and adapt. The safest option to hide. Hide between us humans.
Now thousands of years later the dragons are done hiding. They're gaining back numbers and preparing for a war. To take revenge for their lost ancestors.

It was a dark night. Darkest it had been in months. "You sure this is the right place?" A low quiet voice whispered from behind the bushes to one of it's companions behind a tree not much farther. "Sure" The other replied with a nod. The two of them dressed in a dark bordeaux red cloak. The hood deep and big enough to hide their faces. "Alright then" The one behind the bushes stood up, taking a quick glance around before walking to the front door on the other side of the road. The second he got up the one behind the tree and at least thirty more followed behind.
The house was just your typical work class house. Not very fancy or over the top. No outside decorations. No big good looking garden. Not that it was ugly or anything to look down on neither was it in bad shape. It was just standard. The front yard was just a plain grass field. With in the middle a path to the dark green front door. The door had a thin glass window in the middle with some kind of pattern in it but that was about it.
Once he reached the front door he could hear some faint disco music coming from inside. He took a deep breath and waited for everyone to be positioned behind him. Then he knocked.
No response..
He knocked again and again. Still no response. He tried again. But to no avail. He let out a frustrated growl while his hand formed a fist. He was about to pound onto the front door when the companion from behind the tree showed up next to him, letting out a quiet cough. "Maybe press the button there"
He swallowed and narrowed his eyes. "Yeah of course I knew that" he said before pushing so hard on the button as if he had a personal issue against it.
This time he could hear the sound of a door opening and closing and then footsteps going to the door. As soon as it opened he kneeled down, looking at the ground. The rest following suit. "Mistress we have finally come to collect you"
The girl that had opened the door blinked multiple times before a tipsy giggle left her lips. She looked over her shoulder. "Lauraaa!" Her words slurring as she shouted for her friend. "Did you order these guys?!" More drunken laughs falling from her lips as she looked back at all the cloaked guys in her front yard. "What kind of joke is this?" She giggled while taking another sip from the bottle she had in her right hand.
It was obvious that this girl was the center of the party that was going on inside and completely wasted. The short silver glitter dress she was wearing was sparkling so brightly and on top of her long dark hair there was a fake tiara with 21 in the middle. One of the high heels was still on her foot but the other one had gotten lost somewhere during the dancing, making her stand in a very awkward position. Her glittery polished nails going up to catch a strand of hair that was bothering her in her face. Her amber coloured eyes still looking at the cloaked guy in expectation.
"It's not a joke, please come with us willingly, as we've come to collect you mistress" The guy repeated, carefully daring to glance up. At those words the girl bursted out in another drunken laughter. "You must be kidding. Besides why would I leave my own birthday party" she hiccuped, her hazy mind trying to figure out what was going on but nothing made sense. "You leave us no choice then" The guy sighed and got up, the others getting up again after him. He walked up to the girl and picked her up like she was nothing, throwing her over his shoulder. Her eyes widened in panic and she started screaming for help. However the noise wasn't enough for the people inside to hear her over the music. She started hitting the guy's back as he walked down the path. She dropped the bottle in the process making it shatter on impact with the ground and the liquid inside leaving a bright coloured stain on the tiles. "Put me down! This cannot be legal! This is kidnapping!" She struggled as much as she could, losing her last shoe in the process, however it seemed to have no effect on the guy holding her.
"Don't worry you will understand soon enough"
With that the crew disappeared in the darkness.
