two - truth or dare

Benny laughed a full belly laugh, "It's funny you think I actually have control over them."

Tasha left early, having to head out to a gig she had tomorrow during the day, leaving the rest of the cleanup to myself. When I finally finished, I made my way over to the bar, sitting in the stool next to Harry. I bit my lip, waiting for Benny to bring me my tips, instead he brought over a beer, "From Tash, she'll miss you tomorrow."

"How lovely of her." I said shaking my head, knowing exactly what she was doing and from Benny's smile he did too.

I turned to Harry, analyzing his face, he had stubble sprawled out on the lower region of his face that I hadn't noticed yesterday, and I couldn't help but appreciate how rugged it made him look. He peeked over at me through his long lashes, his eyes slightly hooded as he worked his way through his third beer, "Not much for manners now, Miss Carolina Townes. Staring is never polite."

"Who needs them." I said shrugging as he turned to face me, "Plus, if memory suits me, you've been staring all night." I leaned my arm on the bar, letting my head rest on my hand as I took a sip of my beer. I licked the beer off my upper lip, smirking softly at him, "Truth or dare?"

"No manners but gets right to the point," He placed his lower lip between his fingers, pinching it softly, "Truth."

"Why'd you come back?" I said, taking another long sip of my beer.

"Wanted to see Benny again. Seems like a great guy." He said, biting his lip to hold back a laugh.

"Mmm, that's true. But he makes you wine and dine him, fair warning." I teased, playing along.

"I figured, seems like the type," he chuckled looking down at his beer then back up at me, "And I guess seeing you again was a nice additive."

"Ahh, so he does speak the truth." I giggled, bringing my beer glass to my lips.

Harry's POV

She giggled into her beer glass feeling so proud of herself, and I shook my head at her. Something about her not being timid around me, and being completely herself had me wanting to dig further.

"Alright then, truth or dare?" I said, mimicking the way she was leaning on her arm. She bit her lip and leaned in a bit, her caramel scent taking over my senses again. I stretched my neck a bit, as she said softly, "Dare. Always dare."

"Mmm, adventurous." I said back and she shrugged, brushing her hair back, tangling her fingers in it, "Alright, let's see."

I drummed my finger against my chin, thinking of an appropriate dare, as I watched her eyes searching my face. I smirked a bit at her and she chuckled, "You take too long."

"I want to make it good. I can take the easy route and just dare you to kiss me, or, I can think about it, and dare you to perform your best dance for me on that bar." I pointed to the bar space next to us and she raised an eyebrow at me.

"Hmm, not with Benny watching." She whispered and I pointed over at the empty bar area.

"He slipped away a moment ago." I smiled and she sat up looking over at the empty bar space. She looked back at me and smirked, standing up and pushing herself up on the bar.

"Must be your lucky night." She held my gaze before downing the rest of her beer and standing up on the bar.

I watched as she began moving on the bar, her hips, her waist. Her hands moved through her hair and down her body, she didn't need music, somehow through her movements she was the music. I bit my lip at the sight of her, sucking my lower lip in. She made her way back towards me, somehow skillfully lowering herself onto me, her hips moving on me, her hand down my chest, before she softly pushed herself off. She stood close, a small smirk on her face, "Truth or dare, Harry?"

"Truth." I said, analyzing her face.

She leaned in close, her mouth right next to my ear, "How much did that dance turn you on?" She whispered, and I held my breath, not allowing her to see me break. She pulled back, that stupid smug smirk on her face. She loved thinking she had the upper hand, it was written all over her face, and I couldn't help but hate every bit of it.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I whispered, pushing her back softly.

"I'll survive." She smirked, grabbing my beer and finishing it off.

"Guess Benny was right, you are a little devil." I chuckled and she shrugged.

"Guess so, only this devil heads home at the end of the night." She said, grabbing her purse, "Tell Benny I'll get my tips tomorrow. Good night, Harry Styles."

"Good night, Carolina Townes." I said as she walked past me and out of the bar.
