"Shut up!"
"Hmm..." First time in hours, Gillian raised her head from the book, gazing over her fancy magic item covering her eyes.
Her gaze immediately found the white-haired teen who diligently read a little bit farther from them.
She knew he was there. Of course, she knew! A powerhouse like him strolling in and sitting down is hard not to detect. More so, as he doesn't even try to hide his presence.
"Well... at least those guys who are trying to monitor us are trying to be subtle. I wonder how Mittelt did not detect them until now. They are all around." However annoying they were, it was their library, and Gillian was the invader who just popped up in the forbidden section. It was only natural she didn't want to cause any stir by making a mess here.
"How nice of Baraqiel to order them to stay put and just monitor us."
But really, she just wanted to speak with Azazel to get some information about the sword she "received" as a "PvP reward" — from that stranger who wanted to crash her shop last night.
"I even left multiple voice messages to Azazel, but no answer until now." It was a real possibility Azazel was already aware she was here — either too busy or just wanted to test her patience by making her wait.
"Well, it doesn't matter. I have time." This just allowed her to try out the coordinates Rorschach gave her.
"Sending him to scout the Fallen capital after Baraqiel returned home was the right thing to do. But geez! Their whole city is ramshackle. Did someone attack them not long ago, or what?"
Not as it mattered, not her problem. What bothered her however, was how they didn't even bother to check themselves against tracking type "divination bugs" after leaving her café.
"Seriously! What a bunch of amateurs." She seriously considered offering her help as a security advisor at this point — for the right price, of course.
If any other "more malicious" player were here, they would use these security holes no time to either kill or gain an advantage over them.
"How lucky of them I have no world-conquering tendencies. What's good about ruling over the whole world anyway? It is probably just paperwork and responsibility." If you asked her, anyone who wants that is either a workaholic, has a Napoleon complex, or has no idea how much work ruling over and keeping together everything is — effectively — entails.
"People are a chaotic mess. Always complaining and never satisfied. Who the hell wants the problem of managing them?"
She just wanted to learn, enjoy her freedom, have fun, and only take as much responsibility as she wished, nothing else.
"Guuh! That fucking hurt! Just what the hell you...!? Ahhh! Ahhh! Va-Va-VALI LUCIFER!" Defying all physical odds, Mittelt jumped back, appearing behind Gillian after she realized who cut her so abruptly.
"I-It is Vali Lucifer! Just where did you bring us!? Wa-Wait!? If he is here, that means..." All started to piece together for little Mittelt.
"The Fallen capital... The main library of that fancy castle." Gillian confirmed Mittelt's biggest fear undisturbed.
More precisely, they were in the disclosed section of this "private" library only the fallen leaders had access to—a section where very few could walk freely.
"Wha-What!? Just when...!? Ugh! Just what do you think of yourself coming here without permission?" Even Mittelt didn't see this place. Hell! Low-ranked fallen like her can't even approach the main headquarter of the Fallen leadership without permission! How come Gillian just teleports here, and no one recognizes them?!
