"That's Ise for you. He likes fantasies..."
"Owaaa! So cool! Buchou, is there a book about it? Films? Games?"
"Well, yes, there are actually many books and even films made from these folktales and the stories Lady Paimon wrote... even games. They are pretty popular not only amongst devils but amongst every faction." Except, of course, the angels. They don't watch films or play games — thinking of such things as sinful.
"That's it! Once we return, I want to watch them!"
"Ara ara! It seems Ise-kun is interested."
"There is hope for Senpai. His pervertedness may be cured one day..."
"You think so?" Kiba asked, somewhat doubtful.
"Oi! Koneko-chan, damn Casanova! Don't say it as if it was a disease! My appreciation of female bodies is not a disease! I am a man! A proud appreciator of all-female shapes!"
"Enemy of all women..." Koneko scoffed with disgust.
She was only glad the match was over before Issei could unleash that degrading technique on any girl around him.
It was bad enough he stripped her and Asia during their practice. The last thing the Gremory group needed was something like this to spread. It would genuinely ruin the good name of the Gremory family.
"Lady Paimon was a really prolific writer while she was awake..." Hummed Rias, recalling the many books she read before coming to the human world.
"Wait? What do you mean: While she was awake?"
"For some time, she fell into a coma. Most likely the effect of Sleep Disease."
"Sleep Disease?"
"An incurable disease that makes devils fall asleep, and unable to wake up, in time, they grow weaker and weaker until one day, they die."
"Oh! That's horrible..."
"Indeed it is. Indeed, it is..."
The group around nodded, continuing their chat and tasting the different delicacy that the Gremory family imported from all around the nine worlds—slowly forgetting about the disturbance Dominus created.
Scene Change: A few days later: Kuoh:
"You really don't have to help me with this."
"Nonsense! What're friends for?" Grinned the girl with glasses.
Strangely, she only carried a light-looking bag, while Gillian carried the rest, filled with manga, games, and anime figures.
"Uhuh... so nagging me to buy you those yaoi mangas, games, and that figure was just out of friendship, and nothing else." Even thinking about the stuff this girl bought made Gillian shiver.
Of course, this girl on her side only recognized her money will be not enough when they were at the checkout. Which meant she started to nag the player to "help her out," else she either had to put back the excess stuff or work for it in the shop.
"Hey! It is not my fault I miscalculated my expenses! Besides! That SHIZUO X IZAYA double figure was on sale, and collector's edition! If I don't buy it, someone else will — someone who most likely doesn't appreciate it as much as I do..."
"And that someone will live happily ever after by staring at them in their room... Not only was this crap freaking expensive, now I have to carry it for you."
Not speaking about the rest of the stuff she dropped in the bag.
"I doubt..." The girl confidently adjusted her glasses, and the light reflected on them, making her look extra confident. "There is no one who values more boy's love than me!"
