"If you finished, Gillian-sama, I would like to give a brief about the basic rules..."

"Sure..." Gillian walked near the couch and let herself fall in the soft cushion, placing her heavy hands over Rias and Akeno's shoulders — the tip of her fingers gently touched Rias and Akeno's breasts.

"When the time comes, the battle will start. You will be teleported to the battlefield through this magic circle. The location of the place is in a different dimension used for battles..."

As the maid continued her explanation, Gillian wondered if it is some artificial or inner dimension the maid spoke about — similar to the ones she can create with her powers. Or is it a natural one, the devils, stumbled upon and named the "battlefield" dimension?

Whatever was the case, she was curious about it. Until now, she didn't visit the dimension of hell, or even heaven, or even that place named the "Dimensional Gap."

"A deficiency I need to make up for once the time is right and everything is prepared..."

Yet, as she heard from that certain someone, as much a treasure trove as this "Dimensional Gap" was when it comes to long-lost treasures and mysteries, it was inhabited by two dragon gods always in battle.

"I rather not try my luck... even that guy said he could hardly compete with them."

In that case, better avoid that place until she found a way around those two battling gods. Try if her teleportation skills can work or not in another dimension, then go explore and possibly take those discarded treasures as her own while maintaining a low profile. "Arr! A pirate life for me...!"

Though she still wondered why that idiot wanted to challenge them when he knew he had no chance, until he left her out from his "cool loner" antics, he does as he likes.

"Not as though it matters. His choice. Hopefully, he will not drag me into unneeded battles..."

"This Rating Game battle will also be viewed by members of both households from different locations throughout the broadcast." Grayfia went on with her explanation.

"Just as expected..." One more reason not to reveal herself or her powers but use the "human" tools she prepared just for this occasion.

Glancing to her side, while Grayfia detailed the rules, Rias and Issei chattered about the Gremory bishop who was on another mission and can't be present during the game.

"Is she speaking about that girl in that sealed room?" Whatever was the case, Gillian's constant surveillance and the summons she placed around the school to monitor the situation showed no movement from that room.

From time to time, Rias unseals the door, speaks with that figure inside, then seals it again. What was the reason for not using her? Even Gillian doesn't know.

"In any case, Maou Lucifer-sama will also be viewing this battle. Don't forget about it."

"Figures... he wants to make sure his investment pays out..." Gillian almost snorted.

"O-Onii-sama is..?" Rias seemed surprised. Honestly, her flabbergasted face was funny to watch. More so, considering her brother seemed to be a person who greatly cared about her — more than anyone in this room.

"Re-Really!?" Issei, as usual, overreacted to everything.

Gillian was actually glad Rias explained to them back then the stuff about how the old Maous died under the Great War and how other strong devils took their place — amongst them Sirzechs.

"Else, I would have to listen to it again..."

This was also the actual reason why Rias became the first heir of the Gremory clan instead of her brother.
