Max left Lucas's house after a heated argument with her now ex- boyfriend. Out of all the times they had broken up Lucas was never the one to break up with max.

"No we haven't talked in like 3 months" max thought to herself.
Self-consciously max found herself on her porch.
She knocked on the door. After a second a brunette girl swung the door open. Max couldn't help but break down.
"Max?" El asked concerned.
Nobody's ever seen max Mayfield cry. El moved forward to wrap the crying girl in a hug.

"He look at me like... Like he hated me" max explained.
"He's stupid." El said in pure confidence.
"What," max said.
"He just wants to mess with you. It's because you always break up with him he wants to have 'power' so he broke up with you. He's a sour little boy with fragile masculinity," El explained.
"When did you become a boy expert," Max joked.
"Trust me, Mike did damage," El sighed.
" Did? You guys broke up,"
El looked up at her"Yeah."
Max realized she missed so much . She truly missed eleven.
"Let's go," El said grabbing Max's hands "there's move to life than stupid boys you know."
Max smiles rembering when she said that 2 years ago.
They walk out of el's room to be met by will sitting on the couch next to Mike.
El rolled her eyes "when we broke up I thought we would space out yet you're always here."
Max chuckled at her snarky comment. Mike simply flipped her off.
Will pushed Mike's hand down with a stern look. Mike gave him puppy dog eyes "sorry willy."
Now Will's rolling his eyes. "Where you guys heading" he says turning away from Mike."
"Starcourt" El says grabbing Max's hand. They head to the door and say bye to the boys.

"Okay hear me out," El said as they appoched the mall..max nodded in reply.
"We should dye our hair " El says.
It took alot if convincing Max reluctantly agreed to her plan.
The two walked into the mall heading straight for the hair dresser.
