Hailey basically had to help me walk the whole way, but we soon made it with some Chad greeting us right at the door and letting us in without another word.

"Where's the dude?" Hailey asked as we looked around and walked deeper into the frat house.

"He should be around here somewhere, hang on" I said as I took my phone out and ask River where he was.

But before I could start typing, I see him standing a couple of feet away from and start heading towards us.

"You made it!" River said, a little bit too excited, may I add, before he gives me a small hug. And as soon as he pulls out of the hug, his hand slowly moves down to the back of my waist as he gives me a slow one-over, instantly turning me on. Alright, frat boy. I'll bite.

"Of course" I answer before turning to look at Hailey "By the way, this is my best friend Hailey"

"Hey Hailey. I'm River" River said before flashing her a smile and holding his hand out to Hailey and they shake hands. "Anyway, I gotta talk to a couple of people first, but I'll look for you later, alright? Drinks are in the kitchen and I hope you guys enjoy" he tells us before letting go of my waist so he could walk away from us to high five some other people, while me and Hailey finally decide to head to the kitchen so we could grab some drinks.

Even the way to the kitchen was packed and was a squeeze just to get through the people and over to the kitchen just so we could grab a couple of beers, so after grabbing our drinks we went straight back to the living room where majority of the people were.

While Hailey and I waited for our buzz and watched everyone have fun, she then turned to me.

"This party better be worth losing a good sleep" She threatens before we both clink our beer bottles and drink from it.

At some point, River finally made his way back to us and began introducing us to some people.

I actually found it sweet that even though River was probably set on wanting some alone time with me, he just let Hailey tag along with us and didn't make her feel like a third wheel, which was actually really sweet because other guys would've tossed Hailey to the side.

At some point, he ended up introducing us, specifically Hailey, to some of his friends too, but when Hailey showed absolutely no interest in them, River just shrugged it off and let her bed.

Once we had our buzz on, at some point we ended up at the back of the house by the deck and watch the rest of the party swim and have fun by the pool

"I mean if you guys have anything you could use to swim underneath, feel free" River tells us before turning to me and locking eyes with me. And as soon as it did, all I could do was stare back at him and grin as we both watch our eyes darken by the minute, waiting if either one was gonna fold.

It was River, who folded first by the way, but it didn't do anything to the heat that was filling my system up because from staring at my eyes, he slowly looked down and stared at my lips before slightly biting his. Fuck. FUCK!

I didn't know how long we just stayed like that, but before I knew it, Hailey was tapping on my shoulder, completely breaking the silent conversation River and I was having.

"I'm gonna head out" Hailey tells me

"What? Why? No!" I protest. Well, kinda. As much as I wanted my best friend with me right now, I needed her to not cockblock me too. And Hailey knew that, so she just gave me a smile and shook her head

"Don't worry, I'm still gonna talk to you tomorrow. Or whenever you decide to get home" she tells me, making me remember her threat of ending our friendship if I ditched her. Hey to be fair, she was the one ditching me right now and not the other way around.

"Promise?" I ask

"I promise" she answers before turning to look at River "Hey, I gotta get home"

"Are you sure?" he asks, a bit concerned.

"Yeah, but take care of Casey for me okay?" Hailey tells him, which only made him smirk before passing a quick glance at me.

"I will" he assures Hailey, who gives him an 'I'm watching you' look before finally leaving me alone with this fine ass man.

And as soon as Hailey was out of sight, I quickly turn and face River.

"So" I begin as I slowly tip toe so I could be on eye level with him. And yes, even with the stilettos he still towered over me.

River, however, just smirked playfully and took a sip from his beer as he looked away for a bit before facing me again.

And no lie, here I was waiting for him to pull me by the waist and start making out with me like crazy or some nasty shit that we'd both enjoy very much, but nothing.

"Relax, Casey. Get drunk and have fun" River said before winking at me, leaving me feeling confused and like I just got rejected.

River then took a step back and grabbed my hand, not taking his eyes off me by the way, before twirling me around, then locking me between his well-chiseled arms and my back hitting his torso

"Dance with me" River says close to my ear in a very sexy, husky tone, before he turned me around again so I was facing him. This time, he pulled my hand and dragged me back inside the house where everyone else was dancing.

I was feeling very confused and horny just by dancing with River, but the dude wasn't giving me anything to work with apart from him getting too close to my neck and every other part of my body I want him touching but never dared to.

And it was driving my body absolutely insane!

But since he wasn't making any move that I would very much approve of, by the way, I just kept drinking shots after shots.

I didn't know how long I was in there, by the way, but before I knew it, there was now lesser people at the dance floor, and I was now dancing up close with River with our faces mere inches away. Maybe. I'm not sure. My eyes was actually starting to blur the fuck out.

"You planning on making a move on me tonight or what?" I asked River straight up. This made him raise his eyebrows at me in amusement before he let out a laugh, then slowly tucked a stray strand of hair that was sitting across my face.

"I would, but you're hella drunk, and I don't wanna take advantage of you" River said, still in that sexy ass voice. Mother fucker was just straight up teasing me at this point. This only made me pout at him.

"Not even one kiss?" I asked before my eyes slowly darted down his lips as I slowly moved my face closer to him. This only made River grin harder while he moved his face closer too.

"I guess we can do that" he said.

And I was so fucking ready to grab those full set of lips with mine, too.

But unfortunately, that never happened, because before I could, I felt vile run up my throat, instantly making me run away from there so I could throw up.

I'm just hoping I threw up by the bushes or somewhere... anywhere not River.
