The door to the Ravenclaw common room had been propped open as the river of older students flowed through the tower, everyone reuniting as they searched for the door with their name on it.

Andy found their name on a bronze plate on the farthest door from the common room. They sighed in relief as they read the other names on the door, "Thank god for Flitwick."

Of the five four poster beds, two had already been claimed. One was draped in pink satin, Éabha's signature style.  "Andy Starling," a chirpy voice came from behind. Andy turned around and saw the girl in pink, Éabha Mallon.

"Hello!" Andy smiled as they hugged Éabha.

"We got a great room this year," Éabha said and pointed at the three large windows by the bookshelves. "We even have a window in our bathroom!"

"That's great" Andy replied. They glance over at the other claimed bed. "Whose stuff is that?"

"She said her name was Nelle, but there's no 'Nelle' listed on the door," Éabha answered. "I didn't recognize her."

"Where is she?" Andy asked.

"She unpacked some of her stuff and then left," she said. "Didn't say where she was going. I'm sure you'll meet her tonight after the house meeting." Éabha walked over to her bed and pulled her uniform out. "You should take the bed next to mine," she said.

As Andy set their bag down on their bed, another familiar face walked through the door. "Hey Henri!" Andy said excitedly.

"I can't believe I escaped rooming with Wilson and Rowan," Henri said as he set his things on the bed next to Andy's. "You'll never guess what I witnessed a week ago."

"What?" Éabha replied from the bathroom. She was unpacking her makeup and set everything delicately on the shelf below the mirror.

"Draco Malfoy fucked the boy who lived at the Quidditch World Cup," Henri dropped the bomb.

"Excuse me?" Éabha muttered in shock.

"Didn't the Death Eaters attack the Quidditch World Cup?" Andy asked.

"This was before that," Henri explained. "I was in the toilet and Draco Malfoy walks in behind me— he's gorgeous by the way. Have you seen his hair recently? It's a lot less oily and has more of a glisten now."

"Back on topic," Andy said before Henri got too derailed talking about how attractive he thinks Draco Malfoy is.

"Harry fucking Potter walks in and as soon as Draco sees him, his face gets all red with fury," Henri continued. "One thing leads to another and they start arguing. Then kissing, and then Draco pushes Harry into a stall."

"And you're sure this was Harry Potter that Draco was fucking?" Éabha asked.

"Yes, I know what the little shit looks like," Henri replied. "Floppy hair, circle glasses, no top lip."

The door opening interrupted their conversation. "Speaking of floppy hair and glasses," Andy said as their friend Xin walked in with his bags.

"Took me forever to find this room," Xin said. "I'm guessing this bed is mine?" He gestured toward the last empty bed.

"All yours," Henri replied.

"We should really get going so we don't miss the sorting hat and opening feast," Éabha said.

"It's not even dark out," Henri said. "We have at least two hours."

"My little sister is getting sorted and I want to have a good seat," Éabha said.
