"Especially not you, Kaeya Alberich," you finished fiercely.

"I never claimed to be better than everybody," he shot back, "Just you."

Your friends could almost see the steam coming out of your ears as you stared at him in anger. Recognizing this, Albedo stepped in between the two of you to separate you.

"Enough talking," he interjected, "Let's look for this weapon." You huffed and looked away, still feeling the anger burning inside you.

"Why don't we split up?" Amber suggested, "Y/N and I can climb around and look above, and you two can look down here for any holes or caves or anything!" She rummaged through he backpack for a second, then pulled out a small trowel, handing it to Kaeya before finishing with "Worse comes to worst, we can start digging!"

"Good luck!" she chirped. Kaeya looked at the tiny trowel and back at Amber as she grabbed your hand and pulled you away towards a wall.

"I can't believe I agreed to this," he grumbled, thrusting the shovel into Albedo's hands and walking away from him.

You all proceeded to search the area. Digging through snow, looking for caves, and trying to find anything that would lead to a conclusion about where the weapon might be hidden. It seemed to be a lost cause, but you were not the group to give up. You and Amber climbed and glided all over the place looking for something, anything, but nothing seemed to point in any direction. Eventually, you dropped back down onto the ground and approached the boys who were huddled around a pile of snow you assumed they were searching through.

"Find anything?" you asked. They quickly and suspiciously turned around, putting their hands behind their backs.

"Nope, nothing," Kaeya stated casually. Albedo shifted nervously. You squinted at the two of them distrustfully and crossed your arms.

"What are you doing?" you asked, "If you found something, tell us." Albedo avoided looking you in the eye.

"We haven't found anything," Kaeya commented, "Even though we've been searching faithfully." It was in that moment Amber glided down and landed next to you.

"Uh huh," you replied sarcastically, still keeping your guard up.

"What's going on?" she asked. You turned toward Amber and opened your mouth to say something, but then it hit you.

A snowball, that is.

It hit you square in the side of the face. Due to your attack having gone first, the snowball destined for Amber hit her hands that she had raised for protection, but the snow still splattered onto her face and into her hair. Laughter erupted from the two boys as you spit the snow onto the ground and wiped the freezing cold semi-solid off your cheek.

"You fucking asshole," you grunted, "You're going to pay for that."

You and Amber didn't even have to speak to coordinate your attack. You both swiftly scooped up snow, formed it into balls, and launched them at your assailants before Albedo could utter a "Run!" Albedo managed to dodge, but you hit Kaeya square in the face. He slowly wiped the snow from his eyepatch as Albedo and Amber chuckled in disbelief. Then, he took off for you, so you fled.

The mountainside erupted into shrieks of joy and laughter as the four of you proceeded to have an all-out snowball war, seemingly having forgotten all about what had brought you there in the first place. You and Amber huddled behind a rock and launched the snowballs at the boys who managed to dodge and hit you with more snow as they ran by. You both burst out and chucked the balls you had formed after them. You hit Kaeya perfectly in the back of the head, despite his attempt to dodge, and Amber hit Albedo in the back. Unfortunately, Kaeya managed to make another snowball and throw it towards you, but you slid to avoid it, grabbing more snow as you did. BAM! Kaeya took another face shot.
