𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 out adam's name on the trophy. it looked horribly, and you could still see the boy's name under the line, but it was better than nothing. thea then went over to her desk, grabbing a sharpie marker before she popped the cap off. she carefully wrote maeve's name under adam's, wanting to make sure that it was as neat as possible. only the best for the best girl. when she was finished, she pulled the trophy away to look at her art work, smiling slightly. with that, she stuffed the trophy back into her book bag before pulling it onto her bag. she left her room and went downstairs, getting ready to leave for maeve's.
"where are you going?" jean questioned, making the blonde girl pause and turn to her.
"to a friend's. i gotta give them something. it's really important." thea answered, not wanting to go into details.
"well, do you have to do it right now? it's horrible outside." jean asked, gesturing to the kitchen window.
thea turned to look at the window, seeing that it was storming outside. she had forgotten that otis had told her that it would, but that didn't stop her. "yeah, i do, mum. it's really important. i'll be careful, okay?"
