|Y/n's Pov| I woke up to the sound of my parents yelling. That wasn't a good sign. I quitely got up from my bed and changed into some comfy clothes. I ran downstairs to my Mom and dad in the living room. They were yelling, Probably about me going to school even though it's been 2 days since we moved here. My mom was crying as she yelled at my dad. Looks like he was drinking again. I grabbed a piece of toast and quickly left the house. I didn't want them to see me when they fight. They both tend to be aggressive when I try to break the arugements. I walked peacefully to school, listening to the cars pass by. I was finally at school. I entered the building and saw Marinette and Alya in there same spots I first saw them in. I greeted them and we walked to class together. 

I sat next to Nathaniel. He was always drawing instead of paying attention in class. I smiled as I watched him draw a superhero who looked like a ladybug. I guess he was a fan of superheros. I wonder what comic or show that was from? Sometimes I wondered what would happen if superheros were real but that would never happen. 

|Narrator| School ended.

|Y/n's Pov| I got up from my seat and walked out of the classroom. Just as i was about to go down the stairs. Chloe stopped me "You're lucky that Marinette came to save you" She said as her friend in the back laughed. I gave her a look and walked down the stairs. I didn't have time for Chole's mess. I was jsut about to leave scholl when Marinette and Alya stopped me. "Y/n!" Alya yelled. I turned back to look at tehm. "We're sorry about yesterday" Alya said. I rubbed the back of my neck and let out a little giggle. "It's okay" I said. "I'm really sorry, I had an emergency at home" Marinette said. "And I had to help my sisters with something" Alya said. They both asked if I could hang out with them today and I agreed. I

I walked out of school smiling. I decided to sneak out of my house again to meet up with Marinette and Alya. I got to my house and opened the door quietly just in chase my parents were asleep.  ran upstairs and quickly got into my room before my dad or mom saw and asked what i was going to be doing for the day. I laid in bed doing my school work. I had I bit of time left before I met up with Marinette and Alya. I took some pillows and put my covers over them. It looked like I was sound asleep in bed. I opened my window ready to hop out when all of a sudden I hear a knock at the door. "Y/n?" My mom said on the other side of the door. "Yeah?" I replied. "I was wondering who school was?" My mother said. I looked over at the door. I could tell by my mom's voice that we was sad and tired. "It's great" I said softly. "T-That's good to hear" My mom said. "Yeah... I'm going to go to bed now" I said. "Alright, Good night sweetie" My mother said. I felt bad, I wasn't actually going to bed I just wanted to meet up with my friends. I felt bad making her leave. 

I jumped out of the window and looked around to see if anyone saw me. After the coast was clear I walked over to the park. I sat down on a bench and waited for my friends to get there. I noticed Marinette and Alya walking towards me. I jolted up and ran over to them. I gave thme a hug. "I brought some pastries from my bakery! I thougth we could share with each other has we hang out together" Marinette said as showed Alya and I a bag fulled with pastires. My eyes lit up in excitement. I never knew Marinette had a bakery. I was so excited to eat one of her pastries. 

Our play date came to a stop and we all went our separate ways. I was happy that I got to spend time with them. I walked home once again, listening to the birds and cars pass by. I climbed up the tree to get to my bedroom window. I quietly climbed inside my room and locked my window. I took my pillows and rearranged them so I could lay down in my bed. I heard a my bedroom door swing open and I jumped onto my bed worried that I just been caught. I quickly put the covers over me and closed my eyes. "Y/n get your damn A** out of bed" My dad said. I didn't want to open my eyes, I wanted him to think I was asleep. "I can't believe I got a child like Y/n, all you do is lay in bed. I wished you did something other than sleep" My dad said. I could smell that he had been drinking. I decided to ignore the nonsense that was coming out of his mouth. 

My bad finally left the room and went downstairs. I sighed, I knew that on some night he would drink but i didn't think he would drink today.  I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
