I groaned, literally having to roll out of bed and using my fingers to untangle my hair. With having to pretend the sudden crime rate increase, Zephyr, and school left my overall view on life unphased, I didn't really want to deal with this at 5:30 in the morning. "Fucking hell, Austin," Avery whined from her end. "Now what?!"

"Jeez, Avery, calm down. It's not my fault the crime rate is elevating," Austin said. "Are we gonna live up to our rank or not?"

"You think some kind of organization is behind this?" Nora asked. "We'll need all the people we need if it's spreading across the country."

"Do we even have enough people that fill the positions to do jobs like this?" I chimed in."

Unfortunately, our numbers are shorter than Sebastian anticipated, so he's even getting some of the better bronze and lower people to help out," Austin said. "They have bigger teams than us, and we're one of the teams that have to split up."

"Hooray for systematic flaws," Wyatt sarcastically muttered."

"Indeed," Dylan sighed. "Can we really perform at our best at like, 5 in the morning?"

"Look, guys, I know you're teenagers. A bunch of grumpy, hormonal teenagers. I understand completely well," Austin said. "But we're in the real world. We've got to do something to protect the people that can't protect themselves. As we speak, there are groups, possibly against the government, causing mayhem. Now hurry up."

"Fair enough," Zephyr yawned. "I'm already out the door."

A sense of competition flowed through me, and I quickly untangled my hair as I looked for my combat suit and weapons. I rushed out the door. "Alright, I'll activate the map on your communicators. And remember to tap the red dots once you finish taking care of something. We'll be doing this all morning," Austin commanded.

I went to the bank, as usual, and shot a stun bullet from surprisingly further than usual. "That was a lucky shot," I bragged to myself, then ran towards the robber. "I'll be taking that and returning it." I tapped the red dot that was at the bank, and it turned green. Instantly, I saw numerous other red dots turn green. When I looked closer, I saw multiple red dots heading toward the White House part that was revealed to the public and where President Phake and his family lived. Wait, the White House? No one was heading there during the last crime incident...I sprinted towards the White House. "Guys, I might need some backup at the White House, the coverup for the base," I said.

"I'm on the other side of the country, sorry. Some of these runts need help," Dylan said.

"I'm in the next city, I'll get to you soon," Zephyr offered.

When no one else seemed to be able to answer, I sighed. "Alright, Zephyr. And hopefully if anyone else can get back to me soon, I need all the help I can get."

I arrived to the scene only to see ruins piled up where the White House should be. "What the fuck? Why hasn't this been reported?!" I thought.

I spotted the President and his family near a group of five people of ages ranging from probably 15 to 20, standing idly by. When I ran towards the family for a closer look, Angelina's face looked absolutely terrified, and so did her mom's face. The President looked extremely tense, and somehow the look was contagious. I took my sword out and ran towards the group of people. "You!" I yelled. "What the fuck did you do?!"

"We didn't do anything... Yet," the tallest guy in the group said.

I glared at the group, sizing each of them up. I knew for a fact that they wouldn't tell me anything, so I decided to snap a picture of them with my communicator and send the picture all over everyone who owned a communicator, meaning everyone involved in the government. When the tallest guy with blonde hair and silver eyes widened his eyes, I smirked. "That's right, assholes, this is the 22nd century, but technology is more advanced than you know. Especially government property. Everyone will attempt to track you down, and our technology might as well belong to the next century."
