PSYCHOSIS:EPISODE 1

EPISODE 1 PART 1

The loudspeaker crackled," We are on lockdown until further notice. Lock your classroom doors and windows. A ghostly creature is on the loose. Red-eyed. Dark body. Two children are missing."

I opened my eyes to find myself in an empty dark classroom. I wondered, "Where is everyone? The teacher? What danger could there possibly be?". I got so anxious to know that I got up from my desk and walked towards the door.

I peeped through the glass panel. Not even a soul was in sight. I then slowly turned the rusty knob. CLICK! and then utter silence. To my surprise, the door opened. I stepped out of the classroom, unaware of what destiny had in store for me.

The hallway was murky and eerie looking. "Something about this place is not correct", I said, but no one heard my words.

It went on for what seemed to be like an eternity. Then I decided to move to my right and walked forward.

After walking for about 20 feet, there was another hallway. It also seems to go on forever. Not wanting to change directions, I kept moving in the same hallway. Every 20 to 25 feet, other hallways intersected the main hallway I was on." What kind of neverending school is this!?" I exclaimed, but this time unaware that someone was hearing.

I saw a shadow quickly dash across the hallway. I yelled," Who are you!?" while running towards it. Before I could catch up with it, it disappeared into thin air. I turned left and decided to pursue whoever this was.

While following that mysterious shadow, I came across a staircase leading upwards. It was so long that they seemed to be connected with heaven. I yelled from the bottom, "Anyone up there?" to hear an echo of my voice. I took a deep sigh and started climbing.

The climb was tiring. I was gasping for air since I couldn't breathe. The whole time I felt a very uncomfortable stare peering into my soul. I felt a lot of pressure as I climbed the stairs, like something was stopping me from continuing my journey to find 'it'. After what felt like an hour of climbing, I finally reached the next floor.

The hallway was just like the others stretching on forever. Never-ending till my eyes could see.

It appeared like I was looking for 'it' on the right floor. Just 5 minutes passed on this floor, and I had already found 'it'. Its red glowing eyes stood out from the darkness. I asked it about the whereabouts of this place but just heard an echo following the sound of my footsteps. As I ran towards it, my eyes could see it fade away in the darkness that stretched beyond.

I started panting while I sat down. Tired of running, hunger and thirst, I sat by the lockers, where I gasped for air. I got so worn out that I closed my eyes and dozed off.
