Vampire Colby x reader

Walking home

"See ya later!" I say to my best friend, Abby. We then both go separate ways to our houses. To be honest I had a couple of drinks before we'd left. It probably would've been safer if I called a taxi or Uber, but I wasn't exactly thinking straight.

It seemed to get colder the farther I walked. Soon I started to get overwhelmed with an uneasy feeling. '5 more minutes.' I reminded myself as a chill went up my spine. I let out a breath and tried to shake the feeling off.

It didn't go away though. Something definitely seemed off. Was I being followed?! I looked around subtly, but no one. I was the only one out here.

Probably just paranoid. I kept walking. Soon I hear a voice behind me. "Hey miss, whatcha doing out here all alone?" I turn around to see a man who's most likely in his late 30's or early 40's.

"What do you want?" I say confidently as I can to show I'm not afraid of him. Before I can get a response, two other guys from the shadows walks out behind him. I back away and they start to corner me into the alleyway.  The three of them have smirks on their faces which scares me even more.

They then looked at something behind me and they bolted away. It wasn't long before I felt two hands on my shoulders. "You ok?" I jump from fright as I feel the hands and hear the voice. I quickly ran a few feet forward and turned around.

I had to admit when I first saw the guy I thought he was kinda hot. "W-what do you want from me?" I stuttered. "Nothing, I just wanna make sure you're ok." The guy chuckled.

"I can take care of myself thank you very much." I huffed and walked out of the alleyway. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked away. I ignored the feeling and continued to make my way home. As I was walking home I felt like I was being followed.

I'd look behind my shoulder, but no one. 'Weird..' I thought to myself. I soon got home 5 minutes later and set my things down on the kitchen counter. I yawned then started getting ready for bed.

I was exhausted from partying. Once I was finished I crawled into bed and got snuggled under the covers. As I started to doze off I heard a noise from my closet. "Who's there?" I say as I sit up in my bed.

No reply. I muster up the courage to get up and check it out. I let out a deep breath while putting my hand on the handle. Before I can even open it, the guy from earlier tumbles out of my closet. A scream soon escapes my mouth.

He gets up quickly and covers my mouth. I try to get out of his grip, but he's too strong. I then finally kicked him where it hurts, but he didn't even react! "Shhhh be quiet." He whispered.

After a couple of minutes he uncovered my mouth. "Explain to me what is going on!" I yell. "Calm down! I'll explain!"

He then lets out a sigh. "Ok, when I show you this you cannot tell anyone." I nod my head and wait for him to continue. He then opens his mouth and sharp fangs appear where his canines are. I quickly back up into a corner, fearing for my life.

"Don't worry I'm not gonna bite you. Just let me finish explaining." I stay silent to let him finish, but I keep my guard up. "There's vampire hunters after me at the moment and I need a place to lay low." He tells me.

"And what makes you think I'd let you stay here?" I huff. He shrugs his shoulders as I sigh. "Fine you can stay, just don't bring any of your food home. There's a guest bedroom down the hallway that you can stay in."

I can see his face light up as I say this. "Thank you!" He smiles and starts to walk out of my room. "Oh, by the way, my name is Colby." I smile at him slightly.

"Y/n." I tell him. Colby smiled and walked out of my room after saying goodnight. Looks like the next several days will be interesting.
