She danced like a dandelion being swept from left to right. Slowly making its way to the floor.

I watched her like a predator in the savanna watching its prey with eyes of hunger. She looked so elegant and free.

Like a Veela for she was far from it. She danced with light steps making the rest of the girls out there look like dancing hippos.

Envy took hold of me like Voldemort taking over the minds of Death Eaters. I was jealous and angry because she was the girl I wanted and dreamed of. She was the girl I wanted to make laugh, to dance with, to make smile.

But she was not mine. She was not someone you could own for she was confident and needed no Prince Charming to come and save her from her troubles. For she was strong and left no weakness to be found.



For she was my Lily Evans to my James potter.

She was my weakness that the Dark Lord needed to kill me.
