Bottled Surprise

Supposedly, Deep Cut should be in fear for their lives right now, but Shiver looks smug instead and raises her fan above her head "Ohh Master Mega~" she calls, expecting her shark friend to appear quickly to assist her.
...He's too far to hear, nothing happens. That was really embarassing, her cheeks blush with blue. "Nice try but I got it from here." Frye winks and punches Shiver in the arm, she hops on one foot and pulls her flute from her back pocket to play a quick tune. A moment passes and yet has happened. "G-give it a second..." she softly speaks.
Once again, they're too far to hear, nothing happens. Well, Big Man figures that now a last ditch effort is necessary, he whispers phrases under his breath while ink slowly covers his feet, hoping no one notices when he's done.

The fuzzy lady pulls her hand over her mouth, lightly snickering at the ill-fated performance. She then stiffened her stance once again to finish the job but before another sound could come out of her mouth she's hit in the back with extreme force to the point she almost rammed into the 3 ahead. She falls over on her face, the lady makes a weak attempt to rise back to her feet but is splatted before she could even look up. The braided girl now stands from her spot, a light pierces through the clearing mist and shimmers behind them with their friend peaking out from the corner at a distance. It takes the girl only a second to examine their arena, then they make a small superjump onto a higher platform to charge their bow and start taking shots.

Then, another octoling is hit and splatted by the inkling warrior. The rest of the mass now rush them down, attempting to stop them. Their blue friend - who is now yellow thanks to adrenaline - pulls out a splash wall to then fire back with their own gun. Before the octolings could retialate to the more immediate threat, the braided girl uses their toxic mist. The group caught by it are stunned and their shots are in vain against the splash wall, 3 of the hopless octolings are caught by the boy and splatted before the toxic mist exhausts. The girl then throws out their smallfry, it goes out and causes chaos below, disorienting the small army.
In the middle of the battlefield Deep Cut huddles together down on the floor, Big Man wraps himself around the other two like a shield as any enemy ink that hits him will just make more clones pop out. While unable to do much in this defensive position, he summons out a few bombs in hopes that it will assist his new allies in which it works some degree of damage. Until then, it'll only take him a few more minutes until he can make a major impact.

The two teammates go back and forth on attacking, as one attacks the other supports, and then when that one has too much to handle the other steps forwards. The smallfry supports to in its own way by stopping the enemies from making an organized counter push, they're so small and fast they're yet to be caught but too strong to be ignored.
The amount of enemies have lessened to four very quickly, the duo and the baby salmonid have truly proven that number advantages are irrelevant, especially against them. The braided girl now calls back their salmonid, they appear confident that they'll win, or maybe they're just being nice to their little friend.

Now, the rivals attempt to form a retreat but it's too late. As they were just ready to super jump away Big Man finished his ultimate attack, tri-strikes, resulting one inattentive octoling flying straight into it and instantly splatting them. The other three did see the obvious and wait for it to pass but unfortunate for them they're halted once again, the previously blue friend has his special ready. He uses his ink-vac against the ooctolings to which ruins the force of the jump and foiled their escape. They then try on foot but before they could even get far the explosion spewed back out finishes them. Victory for Deep Cut and the two random kids on the street!

AFTERMATH

Once the skirmish is over the trio still hold each other firmly, as being at the mercy of children has terrified them (reasonably enough) so they're unaware that it's all over now.
The braided one walks over along with their friend behind them, the inkling crouches down to the idols level and reaches a hand from inside Big Man's fort. It takes only a second for them to notice the battle is over, Frye hesitantly touches the other inkling's palm... she then slowly grabs on once she feels the coast is clear. The yellow braids stand and pull Frye upwards along with them, in which the other two in the band follow to get up.
They stand for a second, staring speechless. A lot has happened in like the matter of 4 minutes.
..."Wait... Is that Deep Cut?!" The octoling points over with wide eyes "Holy sh-" "Agent 3! It's really you!! And you saved us all once again!!!" Frye jumps into their arms and holds them tight. "We knew you could do it, well technically we couldn't tell it was you first but if I knew I'd totally be up and cheering you on." Shiver comments after Frye "Ay.. (I knew....)" Big Man responds.

"Agent 3..? Veronika, what's going on?" The boy asks. They stand quiet for a bit, Veronika tilts their head over, signaling at Frye; 'You say it.' "Oh yeah, you don't like speaking, 3." She recognizes. "Ok, well long story short your friend here is actually a secret agent who saved the world from becoming mutated furries a few days ago." she speaks while reaching her arms out to give a motion of presenting the sky. "Yeahhh..... Can I just get your autograph please?" He says with cringe, attempting to change the subject. Frye accepts.

He runs over to the tower that holds his locker while Frye follows his lead. Shiver then returns back to Veronika and reaches her arms out for a hug. She gets a hold and keeps her arms wrapped around the inkling for a bit, "Thank you. Seriously. You saved our lives...." she says with genuine and rubs Veronikas back. The inkling rests their head on Shiver's shoulder and softly returns the hug.

RETURNING TO STUDIO

The band decided instead to grab some drinks and snacks from inside the tower lobby at the Crab-N-Go. It was quite the pain as turf rush has just died down and lots of fans were on them but it was better than nothing.
Now they finally return to their studio, they settle down into their seats and revert to normal. Every once in a while they'd see the two they met on that day. Veronika, which is agent 3's real name, and Hiro, Frye says that's what he told her.

A jellyfish walks up to the band, "Alright, we got a new sponsor." they hold up a soda can and shake it towards the three to see. The soda fizzes during this response. The group hesitates for a bit, thinking "That's normal, right? It's just basic logic!" Then a blob comes out from the soda and it pops its head out. Frye wastes not a second and kicks the soda with such strength it breaks the window that lies ahead of them. That could've seriously injured someone but luckily no papers had to be signed that day. When the can was impacted with Frye's kick, the blob fell out of the hole and plopped onto the ground, not much affected by the potency as the actual can did.
It looks up at Frye with watery eyes, she then covers her hands over her mouth "Oh my cod.. I'm so sorry!" she attempts to reach her hand out to touch it, some form of comfort for the poor guy.

Bad choice, in reaction it bawls its eyes out while everyone in the room scrambles to calm it down. No one can ignore it's wails and therefore nothing will get done. Unfortunately they had to skip the current news rotation because of this incident.

Hi uh I hope u liked my story. I'm gonna b honest I got no idea where I was going with this so don't ask. And like I also did a lot of rereading and editing, I wasn't sure when I was ready to post it because everytime I went back through I changed something but eventually I said fuck it so whatevr I hope it isn't too horrid. Also if you see I messed up with Veronikas pronouns no u didn't.
