They're coming

Chapter 1

Skylar's P.O.V
"Hey freak why don't you and your friend go join the circus I don't think they have a freak yet". Austyn yelled across the hall. Alexis's has been bullied ever sense 1st grade she has been called a freak, ugly, fat, ect. She can't get a break they only call her freak because she has spiritual beliefs and they don't. She uses ouiji boards, opens channels, and stuff like that. She is really good at connecting to spirits, she cuts but I have to help her she dosent relize how bad it hurts me seeing my freind in pain.
We walked to 3rd hour together and sat in our seats, Mrs.Florence began to speak. "Ok class today we will be starting a project not just any project a science fair project but you get to pick your topic. It can be beliefs to therioes to video games to anything. The rules are whoever gets 1st place will get to take a freind and a family member to the smithsonian museum in california". The whole class eyes widened I mean like wide, we live in Maine who would miss the opportunity to go to sunny warm California. "You may work with one partner but that will be the freind you take". Alexis and I looked at each other with delight. *ring* the bell rang for lunch, we finished the school day and started walking home. We live 1 mile from the school so it's not that far we are neighbors so it's really great being best friends. "So about the project are we going to work with the spiritual beliefs". I said questioningly, "OF COURSE"!! She screamed with excitement. "Hey freak you talking about ghosts again". Austyn yelled he was running from behind us and ran right in front. We stopped walking as he continued, "I'm gonna win your fat ass isn't with your dumb ass beliefs". He said. "At least I can lose wait but you can't change your face". Alexis told him with confidence. "You want some ice with that burn!" I added on and we walked away. We laughed about the situation back there that is the first time we had something to say instead of ignoring him.
We walked to my house and grabbed a snack we sat and watched Netflix. "Sweets I'm going to the store text me if you need anything". She said. She walked out the door then I remembered our project. "Let's make our project big about four poster boards big and I will text my mom ok". "Ok I will grabbed my ouiji board and all of my stuff I'm spending the night I will grab clothes too". She was at the door when she yelled "WAIT"! "What is it alexis"! I asked worried. "I forgot my food". I facepalmed but got back to texting my mom.
