It was a new semester at rainbow high, it was junior year for the gang and it was time to be back together.
Ruby POV:
I never really had a mindset for romance. I liked who I liked whenever it happened. I was never a flirt or hopeless romantic. If I liked someone,then I liked someone, it wasn't a big deal,at least to me. But she,she was different.
Skyler Bradshaw. One of the most amazing people I've ever met, she made me feel wonderful. Her care for other people I admired, how she looked when she sketched a new design, I would notice how she would bite at the end of her pencil when she was thinking, and clicked her tongue when she had a idea. Whenever we had class together,and got up from her desk I could smell her cloud perfume. It would give me a rush anytime I smell it. This year I'm going to confront my feelings to her. This year.
I walked back into the halls of rainbow high carrying my luggage back to the same dorm room every year. "Hey Ruby!" I heard a very familiar voice come from behind me, and got a smell of the sweet vanilla like cloud perfume. I felt my heart rush and I heard the stomping of platform boots, "Hey Sky,how's it going?", she had this wonderful smile come across her face, "Great, are you excited for another year?" Her eyes sparkling. "I'm totally ready,but before I do anything I think it's best to put my stuff away." I could see her smile fade,I regret what I said, "Oh yeah you're right,well see you later!" She waved at me goodbye.
I walked into my dorm to see Violet,Amaya, and Jade sitting on the couch, "Ruby you made it" jade said, I had set my suitcase down. "Welcome back roomie!" Violet stood up from her chair and ran to me and gave me a hug, I felt her soft fur coat on my skin and a smell of perfume on her too, she had her phone in one hand and took a picture. I smiled, in the beginning it was kind of annoying when she constantly took pictures, but after three years of it,you just get used to it. "Hey Ruby,you look excited." Amaya said,I didn't notice how much I was smiling, "I'm just excited for a new year, you know?" She crossed her arms "Okay if that's what you say." Back in sophomore year during a graffiti project she noticed how I would act around Skyler, she was able to guess I was crushing on her pretty hard, "Come on can you blame me for asking? It's so obvious,you clearly are crushing on her pretty hard." "Well promise not to tell anyone? Please?", "Don't worry I won't okay,promise."
"Well hurry up and put your things away because everyone is meeting up at this sick new coffee place that opened near by." Jade said. I walked to my room and put away my things. I remember walking into this room the first time and feeling so excited, back when the A's were still here. They had moved on to better places, their graduation was quite emotional for everyone. Aiden and Avery even met up with Ainsley after graduation to take one last time to be together all at once again. It was a great experience for everyone.
After I was done unpacking I walked outside to meet everyone up. "Okay who's driving us?"
Violet sprung a smile "I will." Jade scoffed "yeah I totally trust you driving us after what happened last year." Last year when Violet got her license,she set a livestream and crashed into a tree.
